This original 1964 US mono album by The Beatles, titled “Meet The Beatles, ” is a rare gem for any music collector. The 12 vinyl record, with a speed of 33RPM, comes in a cardboard sleeve featuring an original cover design. The record label is Capitol, and this is a first pressing edition. The vinyl and sleeve are both in excellent condition (EX/EX), and the inlay condition is also excellent (EX). This LP falls under the rock genre and is a great representation of the 1960s British Invasion and pop rock style. It was the first US Beatles album to be issued by Capitol Records, on 20 January 1964 in both mono and stereo formats. It topped the popular album chart on 15 February 1964 and remained at number one for eleven weeks before being replaced by The Beatles’ Second Album. The cover featured Robert Freeman’s portrait used in the United Kingdom for With the Beatles, with a blue tint added to the original stark black-and-white photograph. I Want To Hold Your Hand. All unsealed records have been professionally cleaned for 10 minutes using our KLAudio Ultrasonic Machine to provide you with the BEST Quality Sound! The Supremes – Meet The Supremes. Cover/Sleeve Grade: 8 (EX) in Shrink. LP/Vinyl Grade: 9 (NM). Label Grade: 8 (EX). Other Notes: 1st Press Stools Cover Design – Good Luck finding another copy in this condition!! All records are carefully packaged using professional record mailers and firm padding. Extra care is given to protect the corners and all unsealed records are removed from the sleeve to prevent splitting and/or ringwear. Rest of the World. We use a combination of the industry standard Goldmine Grading Scale as well as a 1-10 scale to ensure a clear and accurate account of each album? Cover/Sleeve Grading applies to OUTER SLEEVE ONLY. If the original Inner sleeve is included it will be shown in the photos and mentioned in the Other Notes. THE SCALE IS AS FOLLOWS. 10: MINT (M) , Pristine, Looks as if it just came off the manufacturing line, also listed as New, Mint Sealed/Unopened. 9: NEAR MINT (NM) , Looks as if it just came from a store and was opened for the first time, maybe played a few times if ever, no evidence of play or wear whatsoever. 8: EXCELLENT (EX) , also listed as VERY GOOD PLUS PLUS (VG++), LP may have a faint surface mark or two barring it from being truly Near Mint, but sound quality will not be affected at all, cover sleeve is just short of Near Mint, often used for cover sleeves in Shrink, or with no ringwear or staining or easily visible flaws whatsoever, seams and spine fully intact. Yet when observed closely will show to have a flaw or small flaws, very minor ringwear if any, seams and spine intact but not pristine. Writing may be present on label. Vg+ lp has many surface use hairlines , but no tactiles, vg cover with rubs (see pics) no splits, name to upper corner! Vg shape printed capitol inner sleeve is mainly a dark blue color with lotsa album art photos, inner sleeve is tattered on one side, #6 riaa symbol on back, matrix etches “A5/A5″ matrix hand etches! Dark olive and light blue cover font!!! Seco nd label variation, 1 bmi, DOES NOT HAVE “PRODUCED BY GEORGE MARTIN” CREDIT PRINT, appears to be one the west co ast #6 tru e 1st pressings , (the #6 identifies it as a los angeles pressing), has the “stereo needle d amage note” at bac k lower edge, MEGA SCARCE!! 11 ASCAP’s & 1 BMI ON LABELS.
