The Rolling Stones Sticky Fingers A4/B4 1st Press UK Withdrawn Gatefold Vinyl Record COC 59100 Zip. Released on 23rd April 1971, the serious collectors will know this is a first pressing A4/B4. Pressed before the album was released from first generation lacquers. The condition of the vinyl speaks for itself, just beautiful. All first pressings of this album have T. ROLLING STONES RECORDS hand-etched in the runout grooves (The Mastering Lab). Later pressings were not pressed there and suffer from a far less dymanic sound. There is a world of difference in the soundscape once compared to any other pressing. It is subtle but definitive. The sleeve has aged very well indeed for a 1971 album. The zipper is small and square as it should be. The following iteration was the round PAN zipper. The insert here is German. Of course what makes this item somewhat of a holy grail piece is its original and hastily withdrawn gatefold sleeve. Very few escaped and less so, exist in this condition. If youre after this pressing with gatefold, I very much doubt youll find a better example for some time. Sad to let this go. In fact Im quite happy to have it framed! MANY PROMOTIONAL COPIES IN GREAT CONDITION, A NUMBER UNPLAYED. FROM 1992 ON THE UK MAVERICK / SIRE / WARNER BROTHERS RECORDS LABEL COMES THIS STUNNING PICTURE DISC 12″ BY MADONNA ENTITLED “. VERY RARE WITHDRAWN PICTURE DISC. NEW UNPLAYED COPY PREVIOUSLY OWNED BY AN EXECUTIVE WHO WORKED FOR THE COMPANY. This picture disc was withdrawn after being pressed because the artwork, Madonna sucking a toe, was too close for comfort to a news story of a royal (Sarah Ferguson) pictured sucking a toe in a hotel bedroom. All copies were taken from Orlake, where it was pressed, back to the head office to be destroyed. It is rumoured that 1 copy was taken from each box, 138 boxes, and the rest destroyed. PIcture disc of which only 138 copies are rumoured to have been pressed. Various counterfeit versions exists, which can be told apart from the official issue by: 1 the real “Erotica” picture disc carries a gold backing card, with the official “Madonna/Erotica” logo in the top-left corner. The bootleg disc is missing this backing card. 2 the real “Erotica” picture disc has a white rectangular box containing its catalog # directly below the Maverick logo on the vinyl itself. The bootleg disc is missing this box. 3 the real “Erotica” picture disc has the words “Orlake W0138TP” sketched on the run-out groove of the vinyl itself, on the inner loop. Prince 1999 Album Vinyl Schallplatte LP Rarer Black Album Withdrawn Cover Unique

Zum Verkauf steht hier ein absolutes Einzelstück der Prince LP 1999. WB Prägung auf dem Cover! Es ist die 7 Track Edition des Albums! Es handelt sich um eine nie veröffentliche Version die sich durch ein aussergewöhnliche Front und Backcovergestaltung von allen anderen Veröffentlichungen abhebt. Ganz typisch für Prince war es, Cover Vorschläge drucken zu lassen um diese abzusegnen oder frei zu geben. Dieses hier vorliegende Exemplar ist eben ein solches rejected Cover von Prince. Wie wir durch Recherchen der Prince Fan Gruppe bei Facebook erfahren haben, handelt es sich um einen Entwurf (Prototyp) für den UK Markt. Dieser stammt aus der Kassette (MC) 1982 und ist dort noch aufzufinden. Bis Heute hat niemand diesen Entwurf als Schallplatte gesehen. Es ist definitiv KEIN bootleg oder Fälschung. Es beinhaltet diverse Designs welches später auf verschiedenen Pressungen verwendet wurde, allerdings nie zusammen auf einem Cover zu sehen waren. Ebenso die Rückseite die in kompletter 1999er Typografie erstellt wurde. Jeder kennt den Text der auf der in den Handel gekommenen Ausgabe gedruckt ist. Auch hier wieder komplett umgestellt. Die ist absolut Kratzer frei und das Cover hat keinen Defekt. Ausser kleinerer Knicke und die hat man heute schon bei Neuware hat, da diese zu fest eingeschweißt ist. Dieses Einzelstück fand daher auch Grosses Interesse beim Mint Magazin welches sich mit dem Thema Schallplatten und echten Raritäten beschäftigt. Das Mint Magazin nr. 30 ist Bestandteil der Auktion und der Käufer erhält eine Ausgabe zu der Schallplatte von Prince. Jimi Hendrix Electric Ladyland UK 1st Press Blue’Ghost Text’ Withdrawn Version

JImi Hendrix Electric Ladyland UK 1st Press Blue’Ghost Text’ Withdrawn Version! This is a genuine 1st pressing of The Jimi Hendrix Experience with blue text and the extraordinarily rare’Ghost Text’ sleeve that has a completely different track list that never made release, this is then over-printed with the blue text (just on the track listing – not on the’Track Records’ logo), leaving the just readable trace of the fabled track listing below. Now – as I have said before I don’t want to lift the lid on the whole blue/white 1st press debate, I know that the white text pressings/big Noel and Mitch were the first pressings, then blue (sort of later 1st) then white.. However this trumps them all because it is recognised that this copy is the ultra-rare blue before the white ones. So early it has a completely different track listing on it that was changed after the initial run and so had to be over-printed. The blue was there possibly as an artefact of the over-printing process. This copy is very clean overall, the vinyl surface is clean as are the labels. There are numerous fine hairlines and’polishing’ swirls visible in good light however these don’t have a substantial effect and the sound is very good indeed, very sharp and dynamic with just light noise audible between tracks or on the quiet passages. There are no heavier marks or scratches anywhere apart from a couple of more visible lines on side C – though these are superficial and can’t be individually heard and there is certainly nothing that can be felt. This is a very straight copy. The sleeve is also very good and has great gloss and no notable damage, it is completely intact, no tears, no splits, no writing. All the matrices are A1/B1 except for the well known obliterated’C’ matrix. This comes complete with it’s original (I presume) 800513 &973939 Patent No. Inners – the text on these are blue on one and very dark blue or black on the other, I don’t know the reason for this difference. One has side-splits but is still useable. I will include two additional very nice Emitex sleeves so that the originals need not be used again and can be preserved. Overall this is a very good copy that looks very good and sounds great, any hairlines are very fine and these early heavily grooved records can stand up to fine lines very well and this is a good example of that. This is definitely a very high VG and is close to VG+ by my gradings which are generally conservative it was listed as VG++ when I bought it! And certainly sounds like a VG+ to listen to for the most part, this is a great listen and a very good looking rare piece of rock history and possibly one of the very first copies of Electric Ladyland ever produced. Please look carefully at the photos – it is hard to capture with a camera but I have attempted to photograph the’Ghost’ track listing and it can be seen in the photos! The alternative’Ghost’ track order is as follows. A1 Still Raining Still Dreaming. A2 House Burning Down. A3 All Along The Watchtower. B1 Rainy Day, Dream Away. B2 1983 (A Merman, I Should Turn To Be). B3 Moon Turns The Tides. C1 And The Gods Made Love. C4 Voodoo Chile (Slight Return). D1 Little Miss Strange. D2 Long Hot Summer Night. D5 Burning Of The Midnight Lamp. These records have been professionally cleaned to maximise their playback potential. Please see the following grading guidelines which I use to grade all media: Items will be described in the following order: Media/Cover i. MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc. FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing. BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler. CD’s are similarly graded though the Jewel case is disregarded in grading. The grading applies to the media and the insert. Cassettes will simply be described in their playing condition and are all tested. All records are sent out in twin wall’Music Max’ mailers with double stiffeners and will arrive safe and sound! Welcome to my listing. Here I have a copy of. There’s No Home For You Here’ &’Ball & Biscuit’ (live). On the uber rare limited edition original UK clear vinyl 10 test pressing in paper die cut sleeve with white paper labels. Released on XL Records XLT181 in 2003. The etched matrices are XLT 181-A-1 & XLT181-B-1. This is the definative’holy grail’ for White Stripes / Jack White / Third Man & record collectors which has been documented in articles but very rarely seen or offered for sale as only a few copies were manufactured! There’s even a video of the 10 record being played on you tube! This the only ever official White Stripes 10vinyl single that has been pressed but never commercially released! After a very few test pressing copies were produced the 10 single release was then cancelled! This withdrawn UK test pressing stands firmly alongside the Quarrymen acetate, the Sex Pistols A&M single, Velvet Underground acetate as one of the most prized and sought after records from modern pop culture! The condition of the record is excellent – (has a few very light hairlines but overall plays through fine with a very light pop on the B side at 2.12). The die cut paper sleeve has creasing & ringwear. The labels are clean with no spindle marks. The White Stripes’Holy Grail’ & a genuine piece of rock’n’roll history! 2x LP / 12/ 10 are charged as per additional items. These prices are based on items / parcels up to 2kg.
