Album : The Finest Hour (Bootleg) – Rare. Recording : Live, May 17, 1987. Label : Big Bang (REC 001). Format : 2 X 12 Vinyl. Sleeve has very light ring wear at top as reflected in attached image. Bottom right corner has small crease also imaged. Overall vinyl & sleeve are in great condition. The album is an incomplete recording of Duran Duran’s performance at the Empire Ballroom, a 1330 capacity venue located in Leicester Square, London. This was the first of four shows performed in London on the tour. With no opening act the show began at 10:00pm, the evening before Duran Duran played three consecutive nights at London’s Wembley Arena. The atmosphere of this late performance was very informal. Simon Le Bon started the show by saying “I’m sorry for the delay, but Nick missed his bus”. Duran Duran then launched into the most successful Bond-movie single, “A View to a Kill”. The album is incomplete, missing The Chauffeur from the setlist. This item is in the category “Music\Vinyl Records”. The seller is “sandersmike” and is located in this country: US.
