    Category: RARE Punk/New Wave. Notes: red picture sleeve, insert. Note: Double LPs, box sets, etc. I don’t use this grade. A near perfect, probably unplayed record. Close to like new with only superficial signs of use that don’t affect play. Only well cared for records will grade out to VG+. Will satisfy all but the most demanding collector. A used, reasonable copy. There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility of light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still quite nice. Significant wear and marks and usually quite noticeable surface noise. In the record world,’Good’ is not good! From here on down (Fair, Poor), we’re talking about beat-up records.     VG cover (coming unglued like most of them) and vinyl. A couple of small pops but plays great. From my personal collection. Also includes extra uncut copy of the cover (small crease and tear in one corner) , a Teen Idles ticket, and some Dischord inserts. All were given to me by Ian when I visited the Dischord House in 1987 while my band was recording at Inner Ear Studios.     I’ve been collecting vinyl records for years but it’s now time to clean my collection up. This is the first pressing: black vinyl, red sleeve , yellow labels with its insert. It’s LIMITED TO 1000 COPIES. Cover is in GREAT CONDITION , with just a LITTLE crease on the low left corner. Considering this rare punk gem is almost 39 years old, I guess you can hardly find many other copies in this condition. Vinyl record is in very good condition too. I’ve been owning this for almost ten years and I’ve never played it , but I obvioulsy can’t guarantee previos owner(s) didn’t play it. Anyway since I bought it, this record has been adequately (almost maniacally) stored preserving it from dust, scuffs and other stuff. This records is located in Mantova, Italy. I couldn’t remember this because it was, as said, like ten years ago and I haven’t collected records for seven years now. Here you can find what he wrote about this first press for Filler. Here you go (I repeat, you can believe it or not, but this is true). Absolutely MINT condition copy of 1st pressing of Minor Threat’s 1st 7 EP, released in June 1981. Only 1,000 copies made of 1st pressing. Black vinyl record, yellow labels, in white paper inner sleeve, housed in thick red paper sleeve. Record includes folded lyric sheet.     I’ve been collecting vinyl records for years but it’s now time to clean my collection up. BUT : this is not a milestone itself. Yes: this record was owned just by Jeff Nelson and I. He never listened to it and I’ve never listened to it: despite its age, this record is still new, never listened-to. This RARE gem has just one little problem: on both sides, the sleeve is just a little bit unglued and you can see part of the writing ” Flex your head “. This writing was done by Jeff himself in 1981 on all the sleeves from the fourth pressing, as he did almost all the art. This is the fourth pressing: blue cover , black vinyl, gray labels with its insert. It’s limited to 2000 copies. This records is located in Mantova, Italy.     1981 pressing of Minor Threats game changing debut. This is the 4th pressing blue sleeve. This record has seen better days, it was thoroughly enjoyed and the soundtrack to a lot of punker pad misbehaving. Somewhat surprised how well it plays to be honest. Not the cleanest copy you can find but perhaps the price will be right for you. This sleeve has wrinkles and, bends and discoloring along top edge that was not protected by plastic outer sleeve. Tear along top edge. What looks like glue residue possibly on parts of sleeve. As is common, glue on sleeve has dried and failed revealing hand written flex your head previously hidden in glued seam. VINYL : is in great shape. Play tested, sounds excellent, very little surface noise between tracks. Included, insert has blue stains as if maybe the sleeve got wet at some point and bled onto the insert. See photos to assess visual grading for yourself.
