JOHN LEE HOOKER (BOOKER) 78rpm DELUXE-6032 Stuttering Blues/Pouring Down Rain E
Released 1953 John Lee Booker (Hooker) De Luxe-6032. Stuttering Blues/Pouring Down Rain. E- Has paper sleeve scuff marks as shown with tiny hairlines is overall still very glossy. POURING DOWN RAIN: E- Same as the flip side with less visible paper scuff marks is overall still glossy as shown, and both sides played nicely. LABELS: Are clean however have a light faded appearance possibly from manufacturing as shown. Will be packed in a New Disc-O-File Outer Sleeve also shown. (All 78’s are played before listing). (See below my 78 RPM Grading Criteria) Info. As new and un-played (there are virtually no 78s that can categorically be claimed to be un-played). N- Nearly Mint, but has been played. No visible signs of wear or damage. Still very shiny, near new looking, with few visible signs of wear, but a few scuffs and scratches. E- Still shiny but without the luster of a new record, may have some light scuffs/scratches and/or surface noise. V+ An average condition 78 in which scuffs and general use have dulled the finish somewhat. Wear is moderate, but playing is generally free from distortion. Surface noise not overly pronounced. Moderate, even wear throughout, but still very playable. Surface noise and scratches audible but not intrusive. Quite playable still, but distortion and heavy greying in loud passages. Music remains loud in most passages. Surface noise and scratches well below music level. Grey throughout but still serviceable. Music begins to sound muffled. Quite seriously worn and scratched, but music level is still higher than surface noise. Music still prominent, but wear and scratch damage extensive.
