Yesterday & Today Beatles 3rd State Butcher Trunk Cover Stereo LP Album. One of the best cover removals I’ve seen. Almost looks like a first state cover. A couple of small pin holes in top left, corner wear and some flaking on top & bottom is about all that’s keeping me from listing it in excellent shape. Looks like someone used some white out to touch up a spot on the top. No seam or spine splits. Comes with inner sleeve and copies of letters from Capitol. The record is in VG+ condition, as well. Beatles lp Black & Gold Please Please Me Stereo 1st UK press. This is the original first UK pressing of Please Please Me by The Beatles in STEREO 3042 with Dick James credits. The vinyl has only a few light surface marks on either side of the vinyl, and the labels have a few spindle marks, the very rare Ernest J. Printed front laminated flipback sleeve has only a couple of very minor laminate creases to the front cover with minor shelf wear to the bottom edge and the corners are showing slight signs of rounding. There is NO writing, tears, etc. The Matrix numbers are Side 1 – YEX 94-1 and Side 2 – YEX 95-2. On side 1 at 9 oclock it’s an upside down G and at 3 oclock it has an upside down number 1, on side 2 at 9 oclock it has a number 1 and at 3 oclock it has an R stamped into the dead wax area. So it looks like the side 1 label has been put on upside down at the factory, which probably makes this even rarer. The rice paper lined EMITEX inner sleeve is in Very Good condition with NO splits, writing, etc. Both vinyl and outer sleeve held at various angles in Daylight, Sunlight, moonlight, 100W Bulb and Strictly Graded using Record Collectors Grading system. Vinyl; Side 1: VG+ Side 2: VG+. Labels; Side 1: VG+ Side 2: VG+. Sleeve; Front: VG+ Back: VG+ Spine: VG+. The vinyl lies perfectly flat on the turntable. I have just played both sides of the album and despite some crackles and pops mainly between tracks, this easily grades 8 out of 10. All pictures are of the actual album for sale. This 1st UK STEREO pressing dates from the initial release date of June 1967. Stereo in 1967 was still being outnumbered by mono in vast numbers and so of the two mixes the original stereo mix is by far the rarest. It is significantly different from its mono counterpart. The stereo mix was undertaken by George martin and Geoff Emerick in April 1967 and completed on the 21st of that month. It differs from its mono counterpart; for example, Shes Leaving Home is mastered at the correct speed of 3 mins 34 secs as opposed to 3 mins 26 secs on the mono version, there are of course many other differences. Housed in its original and early fully laminated gatefold sleeve, complete with psychedelic red inner & unused cut-out. Matrix numbers: YEX 637-1 & YEX 638-1. Description Please read listing in full, see photos for track list. Format: 12 Vinyl LP Label : Parlophone. Matrix : YEX637-1 1 GRR/YEX638-1 4GAG. Country: UK Condition (Sleeve/Disc) : EX/EX+. Please see below for grading definitions. Please zoom in and have a good look at the photos. With insert and replacement inner. K’ text on the label. Internal flip back sleeve. The sleeve has just very light wear. The record is very clean, side one is close to NM, side 2 has just a couple of small light surface marks. All Items orders before 14. We remove all records from their sleeve, where there is a lyric inner or similar the record will also be removes and transported in a poly lined inner. All contents will the be bagged. We package our records in the best available mailers with two cardboard protective stiffeners, great care is taken with all packaging to ensure that your record arrives in the best possible condition. Auctions please pay within 4 days of the listing ending. Heavy items such as Hi-Fi equipment are excluded. Please note that all of our records are visually graded under strong light, unless otherwise stated. We stock 1000’s of records so it is impossible for us to play every record. Please feel free to request a play grade which we will happily provide. We only grade as mint where the record is brand new and sealed with no visible damage to the sleeve. It may have slight corner bumps/rub, ringwear and maybe very minor creasing. It will have no rips or splits. Record: We be in a new like condition. It may have very, very minor defects such as no more than a couple of very light wispy hairlines and a couple of spindle trails around the centre holes. Basically a record in NM condition will look like you have just got it back from the record shop or at worse only had a couple of plays. Sleeve: As NM but the signs of wear will become a little more pronounced. There may be signs of stress at the seams maybe the beginnings of a split. It may have a cut out hole indicating that it was taken out of print. There may be a little graffiti on the sleeve or label. Record: Will show signs of play but has been well looked after by the previous owner. It may show a few more light marks/scuffs than a NM. These marks won’t be deep enough to be felt. Slight warps are that don’t effect the sound are OK. Sleeve: A VG sleeve will have many of the defects found in a EX but more pronounced. Seam splits may be more obvious or may be taped or show residue. There may be small rips. Laminate may be bubbled, may be marred with writing. Record: Wear and defects will be more obvious with marks/scuffs deep enough to feel with a fingernail. Groove wear will be more noticeable. Sound deterioration and surface noise will become more likely especially during quieter passages. We don’t sell records with a lower grade than VG unless it is incredibly rare. Vintage Pioneer PL-51A Stereo Turntable / Record Player / Deck / Vinyl / Rare

VINTAGE PIONEER PL-51A FULLY STEREO TURNTABLE. The Pioneer PL-51 uses no belts or idlers. The DC servo motor drives the platter directly, resulting in lowest possible vibrations transmitted to the tonearm. The result is a new height of turntable performance, plenty for the most demanding audio enthusiast. A turntables revolution speed is affected by many factors, including ambient room temperature etc, which cannot be predicted or corrected by motor performance alone. This electronic circuit comes into play at the touch of a button, letting you adjust the speed 2% during play. Playing 4-channel records requires extra tonearm precision, and the PL-51 delivers, not only with an exactly balanced tonearm design, but also with an ideal anti-skating system. The result is stable tracking over every part of the record for brilliant response from the first note to the last. The condition is really nice, I have uploaded some HIGH-RES photos below so you can see it in all of its glory. The cover is not in the best of shape but I have always preferred to use my decks without the lid so I can show of the stunning aesthetics of the turntable. The cover is not photographed but will be sent with the turntable. Please spend a few moments reading reviews on this lovely deck as you will find nothing but high praise. It looks absolutely gorgeous in any setting and has looked stunning sat on my mid-century cabinet for the last few weeks. There has been a huge increase in vinyl sales in the last 2 years and as a result turntables are rising in value and this turntable is no exception. It is a true piece of audiophile kit. VINTAGE PIONEER PL-530 FULLY AUTOMATIC STEREO TURNTABLE. For sale you are looking at a fine example of the Pioneer PL-530 Turntable. A stunningly elegant and wide record player with a direct-drive hall-effect motor and a separate motor for the tonearm wrapped up in attractive look-at-me woody looks. What more can you ask for? . The DC brushless Hall motor in the PL-530 turntable combines Hall elements with a high torque motor and a semi-conductor circuit. Hall elements, production engineered by Pioneer, are used to switch the polarity in the motor. Since purely electronic communication is used for switching the motor drive circuit, harmful noise is not generated, and smooth, even rotation can be obtained with high durability. It is a fantastic turntable and prices are rising on these rare beauties. A true stunning bit of mid-century design and looks incredible in any setting. The condition is a 8.5/10 , The turntable itself is in lovely, full working order, The lid is not present, however I do think these look much better without the lid. Then again, it is 40 years old and to even find these with the lids still attached can be an achievement. In the very bottom right corner there is a very little bit of veneer peel, this can be glued back down with no issues. It is literally ready to plug and play.
