NIRVANA – Nevermind 1991 Promo LP Original 1991 US Pressing – RARE. A rare gold promo stamped copy of this classic. Matrix number in dead wax reads. A SIDE: DGC-24425-A-GL1 MASTERDISK. VINYL: Glossy with lots of shine, but many swirls and scuffs visible. Some may still call this VG+ on a visual and sound grade, but Im knocking this down to just VG due to surface noise. The record plays great, loud and dynamic but there is surface noise between tracks and audible during quiet moments of songs. I have cleaned several times (ultrasonic twice) and the noise is still there. JACKET: Intact with light ring wear at top and bottom, some edge wear, very small price sticker lift on upper right (see image). PRINTED DUST SLEEVE: intact, no seam splits but ring impression from LP and some rips along opening (see photo). This is a rare, first pressing (1989), limited to 300 copies, white vinyl release of Nirvana’s album, Bleach, on Tupelo. The catalog number is: TUP LP6. Pressing released by Tupelo Recording Company was pressed at MPO Averton so all the 1st pressings read “MPO TUPLP6 A1″ (or B1 depending on which side). The matrix codes are. Side A = MPO TUPLP 6 A1. Side B = MPO TUPLP 6 B1. “Love Buzz” is replaced on this version by “Big Cheese”, but there is a writing credit mentioned for “Love Buzz” in the liner notes on the back cover. Great condition overall, vinyl plays with a little surface noise/crackle, mostly audible in quieter parts/intros, no skipping or sticking. Little bit of spindle wear on both labels (spindle hole is a bit tight). Sleeve has generally minor wear, one more noticeable crease bottom right rear (see pic).
