Release has printed labels, although very faint. Side A ends in a locked groove. Recorded at Ocean Way, Hollywood, California & The Hook, North Hollywood, California. Mixed at Larrabee, North Hollywood, California. Mastered at Gateway Studios, Portland, Maine. This jacket has smaller “TOOL AENIMA” and “Zoo” logos. Tool Aenima, Original Pressing, SEALED, 2 LP, 1996 Vinyl Record 72445-11087-1

This is my personal copy of the original record. I bought it with hard earned allowance at my hometown record store in 1996 and I’ve had it ever since. Based on the information I found online this is the second printing (it has both the Zoo and BMG logos) from the original run. I don’t know anything about grading vinyl so I won’t try to do that but the corners are bumped and it has that circular pattern that old records get on both sides. I’ve included pictures of all of that. You can see the corners on the right side are poking through the shrink wrap but other than that the record is completely sealed. It’s on the shrink wrap, not the record itself. Like I said I don’t know anything about vinyl, I bought this on a whim when I was 14 and never opened it, but please feel free to ask any questions or request any photos in case I missed any important details collectors would need. It’s the same item and condition as before and hasn’t left my care since the original listing. TOOL – AENIMA – 2 X Vinyl, LP, Album Gatefold 1996 New / Sealed. I got this new working at a record store in 1996. It still has the original shrink wrap and has never been opened or played. I don’t believe this is a promotional copy because there are no cuts on the jacket. There is a possibility because I got it from a BMG rep. This is the second pressing from what I have seen on line. Make sure to do your research if this matters to you. The Zoo Entertainment logo and BMG logo are also on the back next to the UPC code – 6142231087-1. I don’t see a catalog number on the spine. There’s one corner slightly out of the shrink wrap (see the photos). Ships in the contiguous U. Original pressing with Hype/Title and Parental Advisory stickers on shrink. The original VINYL edition is quite sought after and nearly impossible to find Sealed. Pressed on heavy vinyl. Their classic third album and considered by many fans as their best. As mentioned Still sealed (Very slight corner wear due to storage, I only mention it since it is a high value item). PLEASE NOTE: I cannot accept return of sealed albums once they are opened. Sealed collectible LPs are like sealed toys and lose most of their value once opened.
