I’ve been collecting vinyl records for years but it’s now time to clean my collection up. BUT : this is not a milestone itself. Yes: this record was owned just by Jeff Nelson and I. He never listened to it and I’ve never listened to it: despite its age, this record is still new, never listened-to. This RARE gem has just one little problem: on both sides, the sleeve is just a little bit unglued and you can see part of the writing ” Flex your head “. This writing was done by Jeff himself in 1981 on all the sleeves from the fourth pressing, as he did almost all the art. This is the fourth pressing: blue cover , black vinyl, gray labels with its insert. It’s limited to 2000 copies. This records is located in Mantova, Italy. A couple of small pin holes in top left, corner wear and some flaking on top & bottom is about all that’s keeping me from listing it in excellent shape. Looks like someone used some white out to touch up a spot on the top. No seam or spine splits. Comes with inner sleeve and copies of letters from Capitol. The record is in VG+ condition, as well. VG+ Yezda Urfa Boris LP ULTRA RARE MISPRINT-BOTH SIDE 1 LABELS! PROG HOLY GRAIL

PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED i. OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP. LP side 1 is VG+/VG++ with just one scratch on the second half that can be lightly felt but is audible almost exclusively to the quiet 30 second introduction of the last song (“3, almost 4, 6 yea”). Side B is VG/VG+ with a tiny mark (you have to look very hard to see it but it’s there) around one third of the way through the first song (“TUTA in the Moya”) that can be heard for around 4 or 5 revolutions and one surface scratch on song 2 (“Three tons of fresh thyroid glands”) that can be lightly felt but is barely audible. Cover is VG+ with a small, very light stain in the top left hand corner on the front only and a bit of ring. This is NOT a reissue, this is the real deal. This particular copy is a misprint and has a side 1 label on BOTH sides, making it one of the rarest in existence. Notice in photos 6 & 7 where the center hole aligns differently with the “R” in Boris. There were a mere 300 copies of this mythical LP pressed privately in Portage, Indiana back in 1975 and far fewer survive today. Of the remaining surviving copies even fewer still were misprints. I have scoured the internet for any evidence of another one of these mispressings to surface and have come up completely empty. Only 10 original copies of this LP have EVER surfaced and those were all standard copies but a genuine misprint? Most likely one of a kind. This will most assuredly be a once in a lifetime chance to ever own one of these pieces of Prog royalty. This is the kind of unique item that will show up in Record Collector magazine’s Most Wanted feature for thousands of dollars if it is ever offered for sale in the future. If you’ve never heard this LP find some sound clips and you will understand the reason why this LP is talked about with a hushed reverence amongst proggers and psychers alike. The arrangements and musicianship on display are on par with the legends. What was in the water in Portage, Indiana back in’75? All reasonable offers considered. I USE GOLDMINE GRADING. We will provide the address once you have completed your order. Q: Do you use any special packaging to send LPs, 7s and box sets? We also place your LP in a plastic sleeve prior to packing to further protect it. Q: What does MOV mean in your listings? A: MOV stands for Music On Vinyl, a reissues and new issue vinyl label.
