First pressing with Dick James Mus. ” publishing credits on “I Saw Her Standing There, ” “Misery, ” “Do You Want To Know A Secret” and “There’s A Place on labels. First issue Ernest J. Day” cover with “Angus McBean photo credit at far right at bottom of front cover. Corners of cover are worn and back cover has had 4 of the bottom flap restored from another E. Side two label has some light abrasions near the bottom. Vinyl is in gorgeous condition with only a small amount of light superficial hairlines. It plays and sounds fantastic in glorious widely separated stereo! This is one of the finest condition copies of this album we have ever seen! VINTAGE PIONEER PL-51A STEREO TURNTABLE / RECORD PLAYER. Lid not pictured but it is included. The Pioneer PL-51 uses no belts or idlers. The DC servo motor drives the platter directly, resulting in lowest possible vibrations transmitted to the tonearm. The result is a new height of turntable performance, plenty for the most demanding audio enthusiast. A turntables revolution speed is affected by many factors, including ambient room temperature etc, which cannot be predicted or corrected by motor performance alone. This electronic circuit comes into play at the touch of a button, letting you adjust the speed 2% during play. Playing 4-channel records requires extra tonearm precision, and the PL-51 delivers, not only with an exactly balanced tonearm design, but also with an ideal anti-skating system. The result is stable tracking over every part of the record for brilliant response from the first note to the last. The deck itself is in lovely condition, Everything works exactly as it should, The plinth and cabinet is free from any damage. This STEREO album was released on the PARLOPHONE records label (UK) in 1963 with reference number PCS 3042. Side One: Matrix detail: YEX 94 – 1. Mother Stampers: 1 G. YEX 95 – 1. Mother Stampers: 1 R. We always strictly grade our records using the Record Collector Standard (Side A graded first). The disc is bright, clean and glossy. There are several non-feelable. Both sides of the disc play really well, there are no sticks or jumps and just the occasional crackle/pop that does not detract from the enjoyment of the music. I have played both sides of this disc and consider that this is a. Example of a rarely seen album. This listing has the original Ernest J. There is some visible storage/age wear that I have tried to show in the photographs. There are’dinks’ to the corners, however it still remains a good example that is complete with no tears or writings. I grade the cover as G and consider it to be a good example. The’Emitex’ inner sleeve is crisp and clean and in perfect condition. I will provide further photographs and information if required. The album’PLEASE PLEASE ME’ was released in the UK on March 22nd 1963. It was The Beatles debut studio album. It is believed that in 1963 four pressings of this record were released. I understand the record in this listing to be one of those very first pressings! The first pressings display the publishing credit of Dick James Music Co – as displayed on this album. The album cover was front laminated and supplied with a polythene lined inner sleeve with an advert for “Emitex” cleaning cloths upon them. The stereo mix for this album was made at the same time as the mono mix, with one track on the left channel and the other on the right, as well as an added layer of reverb to better blend the two tracks together. This was common practice for playback on stereo consoles. All photographs used in this listing were taken by myself and are of the item listed. This record will be posted FREE OF CHARGE in the U. In perfect/As new condition. Sleeve and vinyl is used and shows only very minor (if any) signs of wear. VG – Very Good. Sleeve will have obvious signs of wear/damage.
