This wind up record player works beautifully; there is an automatic shut off, volume lever and speed control. Included below in the lower cabinet on this American-made antique are 48 record files, although a total of 72 can be stored within. In addition to the diamond stylus, the C19 features included a variable speed turntable, a volume control mechanism, a double spring motor, a 15 internal horn, and a Chippendale cabinet that can hold 72 records. There is a sliding ear muff volume control, speed, and off switch plus lever drop cuing. Set upon 4 original wheels. All parts present excluding key. Operates smoothly and quietly. Dimensions: 51 Tall x 23 Wide x 25 Deep. Hinged Cover: 22.5Length x 21Width. Thomas Edison invented the phonograph in 1877 and presented it in 1912.
