Not sure I want to sell this one, but think its time to pass it on! If your married to your vinyl collection, this is your wedding ring. DARK SIDE OF THE MOON. GATEFOLD SLEEVE including POSTER. I DOUBT YOULL FIND ANOTHER. A great Christmas gift for any vinyl junkie! But you will never have another chance to add this one to your collection! I plan to send this to an. December & Finishing 9pm 25. With a starting price of. Than what I paid! I do not know for certain the provenance of this LP, or its edition size! Firstly; these are the label details, I have no reason to disbelieve them. C 068 – 05.249. Disque En Couleur DC 13. Vinyl, LP, Album, Limited Edition, Reissue, Clear. A RARE pressing in itself. Two of these sandwiched and liquid filled. Cover condition would be in line with this era. COVER Very Good (low). Worn edges, Ring wear, Not terrible but not great. A few light scuffs and hairlines, No Scratches or Skips. An early French pressing, plays with a bit of surface noise, certainly not the best pressing. But again, not bought for audio quality. Purple liquid filled no leaks, liquid viscous. An Expert Job but most likely unofficial, I dont know its orgin. I bought this due to the extreme rarity of liquid filled vinyl as far as Im concerned this is the ultimate liquid filled album. Doesnt look like it was ever hung. Ive Never seen Another. My guess would be a run of 10-15 although it could be as high as 30. The 2 clear vinyl LPs used to make this pressing are rare in themselves! Definitely a Display/Talking piece! Nobody else will have one! I believe it was pressed and filled in Europe. It wasnt cheap when I bought it. And the more I describe and list it the less I want to sell it! My Favourite Record but trying to beat my vinyl addiction. I will pack with additional care and diligence; however, I cannot be held responsible for damage during transit. If you are interested in the art and evolution of vinyl then this is a very interesting and beautiful piece to own. If you are a vinyl purist then this probably isnt for you. Although the pressing are official the liquid fill probably is not. The only definite details I can give are that the vinyl used to make this item are the pressing stated. Beyond that is speculation, I do not know if it is an experimental press, outsider art, who did it or when there are countless possibilities. I cannot guarantee authenticity or provenance. The record we are offering here is the ultimate pressing of Dark Side Of The Moon. Released in 1981, this is the UHQR (“Ultra High Quality Record”) version of the record, pressed by MFSL. Only 5000 of these were made and the copy we are offering here comes with its hand numbered Certificate Of Authenticity, which is hand-numbered #3681 and signed by Herbert A. Belkin, President of Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab. The box also includes the MFSL Technical Specifications Manual, the top and bottom foam inserts, the UHQR LP jacket, the folded poster board that goes inside the jacket, and the paper and plastic anti-static inner sleeve. OUTER BOX: The only thing keeping the outer box from grading VG+ is a split on the bottom right seam on the top part of the box, which measures less than 1 inch. The actual UHQR LP jacket grades EX. All of the other inside inserts grade NM to M. VINYL: The record is a beauty and grades NM. DEAD WAX (Side 1): MFSL 1 017 A 2 2 SR 2 U 223. DEAD WAX (Side 2): MFSL 1 017 B 2 1 SR 2 U 216. 1 RARE RECORD SHOP. PINK FLOYD – Dark Side Of The Moon UK 1st Press Solid Blue Triangle. This is a first pressing of “Dark side of the moon” by Pink Floyd, from 1973, Harvest. SHVL 804, A-2/ B-2. GDT stampers on the A-side, -1 at 6’o clock on the b-side. This original solid prism issue had a pressing fault on many copies that led to a skip. The cover has some two light marks on the front cover, one on the rear and a little wear. To the extreme corners. The spines are all clean, as is the inner gatefold. Black inner sleeve has a few creases but no tears or splits. The two original posters have. Never been used, the two original stickers are both clean. The labels show a few spindle marks and a little wear when held to the light. Surface looks very clean in natural light, even when held to strong light there are only. Very few and very light hairlines visible, , no heavy marks at all. Clearly played, but still in. Excellent condition and still demonstrating the wonderfully bright full sound that makes. This first pressing so sought after. Play testing it there is some light background at the beginning of the first track and the odd tick further into the first track. The rest of side one is pretty background free, the odd tick here and there, certainly no persistent hiss or crackle associated with heavy play. The B-side is virtually free of any noticeable background until the very last few seconds (as the last track fades). Superb record and sleeve. Packaging was of the highest quality. The record was in much better condition than I expected. Packaged using high quality card mailers with extra card stiffeners. Grading – As in Record Collector guide – Strict and guaranteed.
