THE MARVELETTESSMASH HITS 62TM-229 Shrinkwrap Clean Vinyl Rare LP 1st Press

Here is a wonderful example of this very hard to find Marvelettes record entitled “SMASH HITS OF 62″ Tamla 229. This one still has its original shrink wrap. The record shows excellent sheen and clean labels. It tracks well and only shows a few light scuffs or marks.. Nothing that can be felt or that would terribly affect playback. I would visible grade it VG++ it sounds fantastic. The jacket still is in original shrinkwrap.. This has a couple of stickers on the front and a small tear in the top left seam of shrink. The jacket is fantastic. I would grade it EX or NM. The paper inner sleeve has some wrinkles but is original and still holding up quite well. This is a great collector copy. Can’t be many like this out there. I can’t imagine the next owner of the record wouldn’t be anything but thrilled. Prince The Hits Volume 1 & 2 MEGA RARE VINYL import 4 LP records 1993 German

Extremely rare vinyl pressings of both volumes 1 and 2 of the Prince The Hits collections. Each volume was pressed as a 2 LP set, so both volumes combined feature a total of four records. The records were made in Germany and issued in 1993 by Paisley Park/Warner Bros. Each of the four records is in very good (VG) condition, with each having some light marks on each side. None of the marks are deep. The records are very clean. The record sleeves and inserts are all in excellent used condition with minimal wear. The records have been stored in a smoke-free environment. Although this two-disc set draws from the first 12 years of Pearl Jam’s history, its focus is clearly on the group’s heyday, with more than 20 of the 33 tracks dating from 1991-’95. The collection is cleverly divided into “up sides” and a down sides. ” The former features PJ’s more rocked-out songs (the ominous “Once, ” the joyous “State of Love and Trust, ” the scathing “Not for You”), while the latter presents the ensemble’s mellower tunes (the jangly “Daughter, ” the Eastern-tinged “Who You Are, ” the’50s ballad “Last Kiss). Though fans may bemoan certain omissions, REARVIEWMIRROR shines the spotlight on underrated songs (the fierce “I Got ID” and the gorgeous “Off He Goes”) and offers an excellent overview of this formidable band.
