3000+ 50s to 90s 7 45 Record Collection Lot POP ROCK N ROLL DOO WOP SOUL R&B

3,000+ 7 45rpm Records. There are 16 record boxes. Each one holds around 200. 15 boxes are arranged (for the most part) in alphabetical order. The one remaining box is all nice country. There shouldn’t be any Country in the 15 boxes, but a few might of slipped in. Conditions range from VG- to NM. There shouldn’t be many below VG. I tried to keep conditions VG and above. Years range from the 50s to the 90s. Predominantly 70s and 80s. Rock, Pop, Soul, Disco, Jazz, Doo Wop, Rock N’ Roll etc. This lot is show/convention ready. Some of them I would price out separately. You won’t find a bunch of junk. That would just be a waste of time. Every record is sleeved. About half of these have been to one or two shows. The other half no one has looked through but me. I have taken several pictures of some of the records contained in the lot. Hope fully you can get an idea of what’s in it. Please contact me with any questions. Elvis Presley LP (Rock n Roll). HMV CLP 1093 in excellent condition

ELVIS PRESLEY: ROCK N ROLL. The First UK album, 1956, (releasedin USA as Elvis Presley). Sleeve invery good condition, with one minor tear, bottom right corner (left on back). Plays as new, with just one smalljump in the opening of side 2 track 2 Im Gonna Sit Right Down and Cry (OverYou). This would appear to be a faultin the pressing, as there is no scratch. (For the collector, the machine stampedmatrices/runouts are Side A: 2XAV 255-1N, Side B: 2XAV 256-1N). The “small jump” was caused by a minute “foreign body” (probably a flake of vinyl) on the surface. This has been deftly removed. The disc should now be classed as “mint”. I doubt there is a better copy anywhere. The inner sleeve is also mint. The record can only have been played a handful of times. It was amongst a small well-kept classical record collection given to my sister by an elderly friend. The item “Elvis Presley LP (Rock n Roll). History of Rock & Roll, Drake-Chenault. Factory-sealed case of the 52-LP syndicated radio show on the History of Rock & Roll. This is the great 1981 version narrated by the legendary Bill Drake. We obtained 7 cases from a record distributor who had them in temperature-controlled storage. We are offering here the 5 cases that are still sealed. From the 2 open cases that we are keeping, we know that these stereo records are in mint condition. Photographs from the open cases are shown above. Each LP is factory-sleeved with no covers. These 52 records play 30 minutes a side for a total of 52 hours of recording. They provide a wonderfully entertaining and definitive retrospective of rock & roll history from late 1955 until early 1981.
