THE VELVET UNDERGROUND AND NICO. USA 1967 ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING. V-5008 MONO TORSO SLEEVE WITH LAWSUIT STICKER. And for those of us too poor to afford genuine works of art like original oil paintings and the like. A true piece of art in every sense of the word. Johnny Rotten once said When the Sex Pistols. LP NEVER MIND THE BOLLOCKS was banned from being hung on display in record shop. The cover its about whats inside. Well Mr Rotten, I do not agree, and on that I think you should be challenged. So I challenge you. Your listening to this music that you have never. Heard the like of before. You look to the sleeve to find out more about this strange but interesting. Then there`s that banana. PEEL SLOWLY AND SEE. Peel slowly, and see… Once you Peel, its over. Sometimes its better to travel, than to arrive! A piece of paper that keeps getting at you like that. So I put it to. That you are wrong. The sleeve is a major part of the art and of everything to do with the LP. This UNPEELED sleeve is in beautiful condition. More so than having. The sleeves with Eric on them airbrushed out. Which is what they did with the rest. I would grade the sleeve as EXCELLENT. The faults it has are so miniscule. This LP is 50 years old. As you can see by. The pictures the original VERVE inner sleeve with the VERVE talent wheel is also present and in magnificent. The vinyl is in superb order with a minimal amount of tiny hairlines only visible under the brightest light. The vinyl has a very new look and shines when tilted toward the light with a shimmer like mirror. It plays all the way magnificently with no jumps sticking or hissing. You would be hard. The rarest of the rare. The rarest pressing of them all. TORSO COVER with the LAWSUIT STICKER. PENNY START AND NO RESERVE. RIGHT HERE IN YOUR FACE!!!! Over the next few weeks. Penny start and NO RESERVE!!! ITALY or THE UKRAINE. All my records are housed in Mobile Fidelity Mastering Sleeves. This prevents further paper scuffs marking the vinyl when removing. The record from the original inner sleeve and prolongs the condition. Of the original inner sleeve.
