I grade conservatively and visually inspection all items under a bright fluorescent light. Most items have been played also to determine if there are any other defects that need to be noted in the description. So delays can occur or lost parcels can occur as well. That is why for international buyers tracking is optional if requested. It is more expensive but well worth it if you want assurance your item will arrive on time. Mint- when a LP is sealed or opened and not played. EX for items that look unplayed and have a shine/gloss that is perfect. VG++ close to EX but will have slightly more play wear to surface. VG+ usually more wear with hairlines/light noise but plays strong. VG nice play copy with marks/maybe some pops or clicks. VG- clicks pops, significant marks and maybe a skip. Good+ to Poor are plays copies with numerous defects that are listed. All records are cleaned with a spin cleaner record washer MKII. All items are original pressings unless noted in the description. All records made in South Africa during the 50′, Jazz was at that time a part of the silence struggle against the apartheid been order in the country since 1948. The cover of the records was made in a printing. Looks like silk print but not 100% shur. Not found in any of catalog I checked. 2 rare jazz albums by Hank Mobley. Monday night at birdland and Another Monday night at birdland. Both records in VG+. Both covers in Vg+. Aside from some scuff marks on records there are no feelable marks. Both play very nicely. There are some tics but they don’t overpower the music at all.. Aside from some natural wear on album covers they are both in vg+ condition. Monday night at birdland is in better condition.
