Photos in place of the Beatles and some of the other celebrities on the. A special batch of 100 or less of these new covers were run on. Pepper Stereo albums, sealed up and handed out to the. Party goers at that Christmas Party. You had to work at Capitol Records. As a salesman or executive in 1967 in order to be invited to the party. And given one of these special Sgt. The first one came to light in the 1980’s when it was found in Los. To one of their clients. That copy was in pretty wrecked condition but. It told the Beatles collecting community that it existed and the hunt. Since the 1980’s two other copies have surfaced and have been. You can clearly see the original cover underneath by looking at the lower half of the left edge. COVER: The cover grades about VG minus. The jacket shows seam wear and about 3 inches of top seam splitting and about 5 inches of bottom seam splitting. The spine is split all the way from top to bottom. The cover shows staining and soiling on both the front and back. There is also the name Philip written on the back. See photos for more detail. VINYL: The record also grades about VG minus. DEAD WAX (Side 1): T 1 2553 F 19. DEAD WAX (Side 2): T 2 2553 G 18. With the exception of sealed LP’s, all LP’s are removed from their outer sleeves to prevent seam splitting.
