A beautiful copy of a very collectible record. This record is from the estate of a West Coast DJ, record store employee, and lifetime jazz record collector who was actively collecting from the late 1940’s through the mid-1970’s. In his latter years, he became a hoarder of clothing, which eventually covered his record racks… Leaving the LPs buried, protected from sunlight (and use) for decades. As such, the records in this collection remain uniquely well-preserved. What you see is what you’ll get. CHECK OUT MY OTHER AUCTIONS (and follow me over the next few months), as I sell off the very best from this once-in-a-lifetime collection. SS (Still Sealed) – In factory-fresh condition. M (Mint) – I don’t use this grade. NM (Near Mint) – A near perfect, possibly unplayed record. EX (Excellent) – Close to like new with only superficial signs of use that dont affect play. Only well cared for records will grade out to EX. Will satisfy all but the most demanding collector. VG (Very Good) – A used, reasonable copy. There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility of light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still quite nice. VG- (Very Good Minus) – Significant wear and marks and usually quite noticeable surface noise. G+ (Good Plus) – In the record world,’Good’ is not good! From here on down (Fair, Poor), we’re talking about beat-up records. The item “FREDDIE HUBBARD Open Sesame BLUE NOTE 4040 W. 63rd RVG Ear Orig Mono DG NM TOP” is in sale since Monday, April 23, 2018.
