Again, this cover has the potential to be peeled to a mint state. Investment/collectible properties have a high value ceiling with success in the peeling process which are at high standards these days. We have personally spoken to a couple pro peelers who have flawless services concerning covers just like this one. Overall, the seams are totally solid rare for a Butcher cover! , the back cover is pretty clean still white! Rated about “EX” (excellent) — nothing significant to be concerned over- see photo #2. Really hard to find such white back cover, when 52 years onward most butcher covers have age spotting – or worse! Photo #2 (if you look close) reveals the tell-tale BUTCHER cover sign in the “V” neck in Ringo’s shirt/coat. Most original’66 butcher covers are safely tucked away in private collections… An obvious timeless investment item, has no bends, no writing & no delete marks. Rated; super clean M- TOP COPY a beauty to go along with the original “Butcher” cover… Looks and plays flawless and the MONO rainbow 1966 rainbow Capitol labels are clean. CONDITION : The cover : rated: the front “Butcher” cover is magnificent – crystal-clear with no imperfections! Downgrading a bit to overall “EX” (excellent) because of very minimal rub wear on spine but no seams splits. The back cover is very clean with exception of a small rub-wear spot at upper right of back, but not showing up in photos as small and still white. Overall as the photos show, the front & back panels are GREAT – all things considered see photos – appearance in hand is exactly like what is presented in the photos here. Most peeled butcher copies will show at least some or more wear, tears and imperfections to the cover slick. This copy makes makes for a fantastic display-worthy (framed) wall hanging, total greatness with no wear to the front cover! The 4 individual Beatles faces in their butcher glory are spotless clean , a rarity for even the best Butcher covers. Just the wear on spine and that little wear spot on back cover keep the overall cover from being M. Again, much better than the “usual” original Butcher cover. Overall, a GRAND addition to any valuable collection…. Solid peeled Butchers covers like this are very scarce with most copies are safely tucked away in private collections. No split seams, no tears or rips, no writing, no delete marks, overall in reasonable acceptable investment condition – ask any further pertinent questions please. The vinyl is rated: VG++ representing a respectable platter , few minor hair scuffs is all and plays exceptional throughout — even though it’s all about the butcher cover – as you know, and the original’66 vinyl is readily available for future up-grade purposes if desired. This is a 3rd state peeled cover that is in good condition. This is the mono record, T2553. Included vinyl record shows scratches. Look at included pictures that show condition of cover and included album. Does not include Capital recall letter or sleeve for vinyl record. A good example of a 3rd state. The front cover has had a good peel. Cover in one piece. No separation on spine, please see included scans. The vinyl is 100% flat and plays but may skip due to scratches. MONO T 2553 BUTCHER LP. AND ORIGINAL INNNER SLEEVE. A 3rd state Beatles original U. LP with front attached to back although there are split seams, most all are visible in the pictures. The front has paper loss mostly on the left top and some to right top, that also has a magic marker (Black) initials. Still leaving a lot of the middle area relatively nice and very framable. With an original inner sleeve that has seam tears to all 3 sides. I took one picture of vinyl and sleeve, the magic marker on LP is only on this one side. Please inspect my pictures and use your own judgment on condition and appearance along with my description. Please inspect new items fully before opening. All sales considered final.
