It pains me, but up for sale is the immensely rare Cake limited edition reissue of 8 albums in 175 gram colored vinyl. My significant other and I are huge fans and both grew up listening to Cake on the radio, so I woke up super early to wait in line, and was able to get the second to last box set at the store. I only listened to one of the records once to see the quality of the pressing, which was quite excellent. They have since remained on a shelf vertically of course! In a dark, cool area. One thing that makes this set VERY SPECIAL is the inclusion of what appears to be an autographed test pressing, I haven’t heard of anyone getting one of these with their set, so I believe it was an incredible Easter egg. I talked it over with my significant other and we decided that even though we love Cake, the funds for this exquisitely rare and amazing collectors piece would be a huge help for our upcoming wedding, thus the decision to sell it.
