Minimal ring wear with a 2 inch long scuff on upper left corner front cover & red’Demonstration Not For Sale’ stamp on back cover (see photos). Comlastic padded inner sleeve. Light seam wear, no splitting. 6-eye Columbia center label with’Demonstration Record Not For Sale’ print over label. Light surface scratches but plays great (checkout the soundclips)! Deadwax matrix side 1: XLP-55619-1A / deadwax matrix side 2: XLP-55620-1A. Listen to the sound clip. Please note our grading below. M (Mint): We only use this grade if a record is sealed & has never been played. M-/NM (Near Mint): A very clean record, may have light superficial scuffs, but does not affect play. VG+ (Very Good Plus): A well-cared-for-record that is noticeably less then perfect, but defects are not visually or audibly distracting. Record surfaces may have slight scuffs or light scratches, but are still primarily clean. Sleeves may have some creases or minor ring wear, but will not be split. (A grade that will satisfy most collectors). VG (Very Good): A used, reasonable copy to play. Many of the defects found in a VG+ copy will be more pronounced in VG condition. May have some surface noise and sleeves may look worn, but the record is still a decent copy. G+ (Good Plus): A well-worn record that is still playable. BOB DYLAN – Unplayed Mint Stereo Six-Eye 1st Pressing Debut Album /Ultra Rare! SEE OUR OTHER RARE RECORDS & MEMORABILIA. Here is something weve never seen, in 45+ years of record collectinga likely unplayed Stereo first pressing of Bob Dylans 1962 debut album, with the six-eye Columbia label. Only the earliest pressings had the six-eye label, with Columbia coincidentally changing their label design almost immediately after this albums release. Adding to its desirability, this copy comes from the collection of the late Theo Bikel, one of Dylans earliest supporters, who urged Dylan to travel to the American South to see the Civil Rights struggle up close, and when his manager, Albert Grossman, refused to pay for the trip, Bikel himself bought Dylan an airplane ticket. Dylan, Bikel, Pete Seeger and The Freedom Singers participated at a voter registration rally in Greenwood, Mississippi, with Dylan performing Only A Pawn In Their Game. The disc here is in mint condition, and shows absolutely no sign of play, with no wear and not even a single spindle mark on either label. The cover, in vg+ condition, has some light wear and Bikels white tape label with indexing notations, which he put on all of his records. The cover has the Numeral 2 on the back right hand corner. Very likely the cleanest surviving example of this extremely rare album, with exceptional provenance. Our accompanying letter of authenticity will detail that we acquired this directly from Bikels estate. BOB DYLAN Blood on the Tracks Vinyl Test Pressing ULTRA RARE COLLECTABLE

This ULTRA RARE LP was never released to the public! This is the unreleased test pressing for the original version of Bob Dylan’s BLOOD ON THE TRACKS album. Before the official version of the album was released in 1975, five of these tracks were re-recorded. The original recording of the album is intact here. The following tracks were later re-recorded for the 1975 release. “Tangled Up in Blue”, with different lyrics. “You’re A Big Girl Now”, alternate take. “Idiot Wind”, with different lyrics. “If You See Her, Say Hello”, with different lyrics. “Lily, Rosemary and The Jack Of Hearts”, alternate take with extra verse. ONLY FOUR OTHER COPIES OF THIS LP ARE KNOWN TO EXIST!! LP has been play graded as VG++ to Near Mint, but mostly in Near Mint condition. It does have some very light (VG++) intro ticks. LP also shows a very small, slight intro warp which will not affect tracking on most turntables. The jacket is plain white with no writing or printing. It is in excellent condition, with very light shelf wear. It also includes the original paper sleeve that came with it. The printed label reads COLUMBIA RECORD PRODUCTIONS, SANTA MARIA, TEST PRESSING, 1974 CBS, INC. The metal stamped matrix in the lead-out groove on side one is PAL-33235-1A, side two PBL-33235-1A. The freewheelin’ BOB DYLAN withdrawn CL 19861A matrix LP

The rarest – and most sought after – of all Bob Dylan albums. That’s right – this is the 1A matrix pressing which plays the four tracks that were withdrawn. It is NOT the Canadian pressing or timing strip issue which list the deleted tracks but play the standard cuts. The labels and cover here show the replacement tracks – which is consistent with the few other mono copies that have turned up over the past fifty years. However, check the picture which shows the vinyl for Side 1: the middle track is “A Hard Rain’s A-Gonna Fall”, and you should be able to see it is the widest band, since it is the longest song. On standard copies of this record, that track is sequenced last in the #6 position. VINYL CONDITION: visually VG+ In regular room light, surface appears very clean with no serious defects. Under 100 watt bulb, one can see a number of light marks, some people describe as hairline or spidery, so there is evidence that record was played, as pretty much all copies of this popular album were, but not abused. There are no feelable scratches or marks that tick, pop, skip, stick, or thump. The cover is in excellent shape for this issue. There is minimal wear on front, and print on spine is not exactly centered due to how flat was glued in original manufacture. Hear for yourself as we have uploaded sound files for the tracks. Occasionally there is some kind of surface noise, but it is minimal and the fidelity is remarkable, I suppose due to being such an early and limited pressing. Blowin’ in the Wind. I Shall Be Free. HERE IS THE STORY: last summer August 2015, a friend of mine was visiting his brother-in-law. They got to talking about old records, and the brother-in-law mentioned that he had a Dylan album that he remembered there was something unusual about. So they got it out and played it, and, sure enough, the songs did not match those printed on the label. Lo and behold, this legendary anomaly had been sitting on the guy’s shelf for more than 50 years. Fewer than a couple dozen have ever surfaced. And though skeptical at first, there was the photographic proof. I think all serious record nuts have heard of it – I had an old Goldmine GUIDE TO COLLECTIBLE RECORD ALBUMS by Neal Umphred from 1994 which has an article entitled, “The World’s Most Valuable Album”. So I have been researching for months, talking and emailing with nationally known Dylan and record experts. It was finally decided to put this one on consignment with me and list in conjunction with Bob’s 75th who woulda thunk it? Unless they discover a box of these hidden away in the Columbia catacombs, this copy will someday sell for more than whatever is paid today – the owner may change his mind and hold on for posterity. If you are looking for cds, go to the cd category. M: Generally reserved for sealed records, but may be used for an opened record with absolutely no evidence of play M-: May have no marks or a couple very light marks, which would not be noticed except for extremely close inspection, and which will not affect play. EX: May have a few very light marks which are nearly invisible and most likely do not sound. VG+: May have some visible light marks but no feelable scratches. May play with a minimum of noise during quiet passages. Note: items posted in the past may have slightly different grading abbreviations; however the old “NM” is the same as “M” defined above, “NM-” equals “M-“, etc. Please note that grades are visual. It seems to me that play-grading is even more subjective and entails other variables, such as the sensitivity of one’s equipment. I have not listened to many of these records but will try to upon request. There is not a huge amount of difference between M/M-/EX. As anyone who has handled a lot of used records knows, some play better than they look and VICE VERSA.
