Day” cover with “Angus McBean photo credit at far right at bottom of front cover. Corners of cover are worn and back cover has had 4 of the bottom flap restored from another E. This is the very first UK withdrawn version of this release with variant 1 matrix numbers I. 1-1-1-1 and with the uncorrected EMI missing from the dark green apple labels. It’s in superb condition with the original 4 photos and original poster. Also, the black inner die cut sleeves which are smooth on the outer and slightly textured on the inner are also included. Both vinyls play with no issues on all four sides. This is the original and complete early withdrawn UK mono version and getting rarer to come by in this condition. Welcome to Steel Wheels. Vinyl 7 / EPs. YEAR OF RELEASE: – 1968. Very rare 1968 UK Parlophone label export issue 30-track stereo double vinyl LP on a black & yellow Parlophone label, pressed exclusively for export to those countries for which Apple was not yet a registered legal entity. Comes housed in a fully laminated gatefold sleeve which is top opening, embossed & individually numbered on the front with internal flipbacks, complete with black inners [one-sided die-cut] and four glossy 11″ x 8″ photos (no poster). Sleeve is VG+, both records only G+/VG. Matrices:- YEX 709-1 XEX 710-1 XEX 711-1 XEX 712-1. All my items are graded according to the Record Collectors grading system. M (Mint): The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and the extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EX (Excellent): The record shows some signs of having been played but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VG (Very Good): The record has obviously been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. G (Good): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc. F (Fair): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. Beatles Butcher Cover Yesterday And Today releases in the US on 06/20/1966 Rare Great Cond. This has been in this metal frame with plexiglass for many many years. The older woman I bought this from (huge Beatles collector) believed this to be an original promo sent to the reviewers and radio stations (never pasted over). It also comes with the recall letter they sent out shortly after sending the album out. I have always wanted one and would have paid double. Upon closer examination this seems to be a really extremely well done Peel Off or Third State. The letter seems to be a reproduction. Anyway I really dont have room for this in my Brooklyn apartment and it doesnt really go with any of my artwork. This is the mono mixes from the original masters, 11 albums pressed on heavyweight 180G vinyl. Replicas of the original LP sleeves and artwork released as Mono Masters for the first time. Includes an 108 page lavishly illustrated hardback book. All records are encased in original cellophane as is the hardback book, none opened or played. The heavy hinged box is still encased in its cardboard outer sleeve with the packaged dessicant present. This is extremely rare, maybe unique, in its originality.
