David Bowie Five Years Vinyl Box Set. Near mint condition, vinyl records have only been played once. Extremely rare box set. Box shows minimal signs of natural wear and box contains original back cover sheet. Includes all inner sleeves and booklet. Parlophone Records are proud to announce DAVID BOWIE FIVE YEARS 1969 1973, the first in a series of box sets spanning his career. The thirteen-piece vinyl set features all of the material officially released by Bowie during the nascent stage of his career from 1969 to 1973. The Vinyl boxset includes tracks that have never before appeared on CD/digitally as well as new remasters. Exclusive to the box sets will be Re:Call 1 a new compilation of non-album singles, single versions & b-sides. It features a previously unreleased single edit of All The Madmen, which was originally set for a U. Release but was never actually released. Also included is the original version of Holy Holy, which was only ever released on the original 1971 Mercury single and hasnt been available on any release since. Also exclusive to all versions of Five Years 1969 1973 will be a 2003 stereo remix of The Rise and Fall Of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars by the albums original co-producer Ken Scott, previously only available on DVD with the LP/DVD format of the 40th anniversary edition of the album. The vinyl box set has the same content as the CD set on pressed on audiophile quality 180g vinyl. The box sets accompanying book, 84 pages in the vinyl set, will feature rarely seen photos as well as technical notes about each album from producers Tony Visconti and Ken Scott, an original press review for each album and a short foreword by legendary Kinks front man Ray Davies. An alternate cover has been created for the 2003 mix of Ziggy Stardust by Ken Scott, which features an outtake from the original Heddon Street photo session. RECORD HAS A FEW HARLINES AND A FEW SURFACE MARKS BUT NOT MANY. CRACKLES CAN BE HEARED IN SOME PARTS AS TO BE EXPECTED. HOWEVER THERE ARE NO SKIPS OR JUMPS AND SOUNDS ACE FOR IT’S AGE. THE MUSIC OVERPOWERS THE CRACKLING AND REALLY I MUST ADMIT IT’S NOT A BAD PRESSING AT ALL! BIT OF A RELUCTANT SALE AFTER LISTENING TO IT AGAIN. Iron Maiden – The Soundhouse Tapes (Original UK 7 EP). Copy of this very rare E. P in Near Mint condition throughout. This is the genuine original release with. ROK-1-A EG SA LYN 7627-IT &. ROK-1-B LYN 7628-IT EG SA matrix numbers. The Vinyl is in Near Mint condition. Looks to be barely played as there are no spindle marks on the labels. There is one tiny red surface dot on the middle of Side A, which appears to have been caused in manufacture. I play tested over this mark and it has no effect on the superb sound. The top opening picture sleeve is in Near Mint condition with only the faintest rubbing on the bottom edge. Looks virtually as new. The original off-white paper inner sleeve is in Excellent condition with no splits. There is a bit of light creasing near the sleeve opening. Both labels are clean and unmarked. Please note, the labels are actually a light red colour although the photo taken under lights may appear a bit more orange. Released by Rock Hard Records Cat: ROK. ALL THE ALBUMS I SELL ARE VERY SECURELY PACKAGED WITH STIFFENERS AND NEW PLASTIC SLEEVES. I ALWAYS PLACE THE RECORD OUTSIDE THE OUTER SLEEVE TO ENSURE THERE IS NO DAMAGE TO THE SLEEVE IN TRANSIT.
