London Lp Vinyl Motley Crue WASP Sixx Blackie Hair Metal Rare

Extremely RARE and sought after 2008 pressing of London’The Metal Years’. DeadLine only pressed 200 white label vinyl copies of this one. It’s hand numbered 23 of 200 on the back. This is the finest example I’ve seen of the scant few that have been up for sale. The vinyl has been played less than ten times, and the pictures show the original blank white inner sleeve. The pressing is fairly well done with moderate surface noise on both sides, but the vinyl definitely captures the essence of a live London show on the fabled Sunset Strip in its heyday. This live performance was recorded during the filming of the documentary The Decline of Western Civilization Pt. It may be a long, long time before another one of these comes up for grabs.

VG+ A Very Good Plus record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Record surfaces may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don’t affect one’s. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are “OK”. VG Many of the defects found in a VG+ record will be more pronounced in a VG disc. Surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song’s intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as with light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound. VG- It will have significant surface noise and scratches and visible groove wear May be badly warped, and won’t play through without skipping or repeating. This is a 1978 – 1983 US pressing of Pink Floyd’s Wish You Were Here lp. This is still sealed, so I cannot verify the matrix numbers, though I have been a collector for many years, and can vouch for the quality of these pressings. They sound absolutely fantastic, and some even prefer them to original pressings, myself included. My “go to” is a 1978 US pressing with “sky blue” labels, and I have 7 different pressings in my personal collection. This is an ideal record for someone who wants a sealed vintage analog copy of this album for the collection or to archive. If you decide to open it and play it, you should have a wonderful sounding analog mastered copy. Presumably the vinyl is in flawless condition.
