Beatles Please Please Me Original Uk Stereo Black & Gold Rare Label Mispress
September 4, 2016 by admin
BEATLES “PLEASE PLEASE ME”. ORIGINAL 1963 UK BLACK & GOLD STEREO 1ST PRESSING. SIDE TWO LABELS ON BOTH SIDES. THE BLACK & GOLD LABEL TO SIDE TWO IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. APART FROM A SMALL PAPER SCAR MARK THE LABEL IS OTHERWISE UNSPOILT WITH BRIGHT & VIVID GOLD TEXT. THERE IS JUST A HINT OF WEAR VISIBLE TO THE SPINDLE HOLE. THE BLACK & GOLD LABEL TO SIDE ONE (WHICH IS ALSO SIDE TWO LABEL) IS IN FAIR CONDITION. AS CAN BE VIEWED IN THE PICTURE THE BOTTOM HALF OF THE LABEL DOES SUFFER FROM SOME OBVIOUS PAPER SCARS & SOME TAPE RESIDUE. WE BELIEVE THAT THIS HAS BEEN CAUSED BY THE ORIGINAL OWNER TAPING THE CORRECT SIDE ONE TRACK LISTING OVER THE INCORRECT LABEL BUT THEN AT SOME POINT THIS HAS BEEN REMOVED. IT MUST HOWEVER BE STRESSED THAT ALL THE ORIGINAL TRACK LISTINGS ARE STILL LEGIBLE & THAT THE TOP HALF OF THIS LABEL IS AGAIN UNSPOILT. THE HEAVY WEIGHT VINYL TO BOTH SIDES IS IN SUPERB CONDITION. WHEN VIEWED IN BRIGHT LIGHT THERE DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE ANY ACTUAL SCRATCHES OR SCUFFS VISIBLE. THE VINYL HAS A BEAUTIFUL HIGH GLOSS SHEEN WITH NO DULLING TO THE PLAYING SURFACE. THE VINYL LIES PERFECTLY FLAT WITH NO WARPING E. THE AUDIO TO BOTH SIDES IS SIMPLY SUPERB. APART FROM SOME VERY MINIMAL LIGHT CRACKLE HERE & THERE THE VINYL PLAYS THROUGH PERFECTLY WITH NO FAULTS. COMPLETE WITH ITS ORIGINAL THICK EMITEX INNER SLEEVE. THE INNER SLEEVE IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. THE SLEEVE IS COMPLETELY INTACT, VERY CLEAN & STILL ITS TRUE BRIGHT WHITE COLOUR. THE VINYL IS HOUSED IN ITS ORIGINAL & CORRECT 1ST ISSUE OUTER SLEEVE. THE SLEEVE IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. THE FRONT OF THE SLEEVE IS BRIGHT & CLEAN WITH SOME VISIBLE BUT LIGHT EDGE WEAR & CORNER BUMPS. THERE IS SOME LIGHT STAINING VISIBLE TO THE TOP WHITE EDGE STRIP & THERE ARE SOME LIGHT EDGE WRINKLES & LIGHT CREASES VISIBLE. ALL THE FRONT TEXT IS FULLY LEGIBLE AND ALL COLOURS HAVE REMAINED BRIGHT. THE REAR OF THE SLEEVE DOES SHOW SOME SIGNS OF AGE & WEAR. AGAIN THERE IS SOME STAINING TO THE TOP & A SMALL SECTION OF “BUBBLING” TO THE TOP LEFT CORNER. THE THREE FLIPBACKS ARE ALL COMPLETE WITH SOME CREASING, WEAR & AGE MARKS VISIBLE. ALL THE REAR TEXT IS UNSPOILT & FULLY READABLE. THE SPINE IS SLIGHTLY FLATTENED BUT SHOWS LITTLE WEAR. OVERALL THIS IS A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY TO AQUIRE THIS VERY RARE & SOUGHT AFTER ORIGINAL UK 1ST PRESSING WHICH CARRIES THE VERY UNUSUAL & NEVER SEEN LABEL PRESSING ERROR, THEREFOR DESPITE THIS NOT BEEN A PERFECT COPY OF THIS ALBUM, THIS ERROR MAKES THIS EXAMPLE A VERY UNIQUE ADDITION TO ANY COLLECTION.
