Rare Beatles White Album Reel to Reel 1968 EMI Records DTA-PMC 7076/8
May 22, 2018 by admin
This is a rare original 3 & 3/4 ips twin track mono reel-to-reel tape from 1968 (DTA-PMC 7067/8) The Beatles Double Album, a. The White Album – The Beatles tenth album release. There are no snaps, or repairs on the tape which is on the original 5 inch EMITAPE reel. The reel is in excellent condition, so well looked after it still has the original EMITAPE sticker on the centre of both sides and the white adhesive strip which originally secured the leader tape to the reel. These can all be seen in the photo. I don’t have the tech to play this tape and so I cant attest for the recording itself. Note the plastic carry case does have some cracks similar to those one might see on old cassette tape cases, the wrap around white card cover also carry some damage as shown. Weight for packing approx 200 Grams. In case you can’t remember, the tracks on this album are: SIDE ONE: Back In The USSR; Dear Prudence; Glass Onion; Ob-La-Di; Wild Honey Pie; The Continuing Story of Bungalow Bill; While My Guitar Gently Weeps; Happiness Is a Warm Gun; Martha My Dear; I’m So Tired; Blackbird; Piggiest (misprint – should be Piggies); Rocky Raccoon; Don’t Pass Me By; Why Don’t We Do It in the Road? I Will; and Julia. SIDE TWO: Birthday; Yer Blues; Mother Nature’s Son; Everybody’s Got Something To Hide Except Me And My Monkey; Sexy Sadie; Helter Skelter; Long, Long, Long; Revolution 1; Honey Pie; Savoy Truffle; Cry Baby Cry; Revolution 9; and Good Night. Please scroll through the Auctiva pictures to see all the photos. It will answer your FAQ’s far quicker than you can type a message and wait for a response from us – thats why it’s there! In fairness to all interested buyers we DO NOT accept BIN offers or end auctions early. However, please note some items are just too big and some too fragile to be sent combined. Rare Salsa Orchestra Love Rico Record Original
February 13, 2018 by admin
All records have been visually graded unless otherwise stated. Mint (M): A brand new record that has certainly never been played or is still factory sealed. Cover or box has no obvious defects. Near Mint (NM): The highest grade for an used record. Almost no signs of being played, perhaps a spindle mark or barely noticeable light mark where record has been removed from the inner sleeve. Cover or box may have minor ring wear but no bends, creases or writing whatsoever. Excellent (EX): Record has only a few light (non-sounding) marks and has been well preserved. There is very little lessening in sound quality. Cover or box has slightly more wear than NM. VG: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Cover or box may have a pronounced ring wear, seam splits, writing, discoloration and general wear or tear (Details are indicated in the descripion). The item “RARE SALSA ORCHESTRA LOVE RICO RECORD ORIGINAL” is in sale since Saturday, February 10, 2018. This item is in the category “Music\Records”. RARE Hank Mobley Blue Note 1568 New York 23 Label Mono Ear RVG Holy Grail
December 22, 2017 by admin
I lucked out and found a large collection of highly desirable and valuable jazz records. I tried to photograph any blemishes or damage on them and described any issues I could see or hear. You can hear for yourself the quality of the vinyl by listening to the audio samples included. I have an Ion USB turntable which I hope was adequate. I also played ones with more apparent scratches or scuffs to listen for noise, on a high end Tecniques turntable. I will provide the name of the former owner to any buyers if desired. The description of the LP follows the audio samples and images so be sure to scroll down. Among the movie related items (vintage posters including from Creepshow and Dawn of the Dead, scripts and production material including scripts, production still photos and candid amateur pictures and some film) I found about 10 record boxes filled with classic jazz albums from Blue Note, Prestige, and other major companies. If there was a scratch, scuff, or other blemish, I recorded that section for you to get an idea as to condition. The records would definitely benefit from a thorough cleaning and will have much better audio quality when cleaned. I did use a velvet magnetic buff to do a quick cleaning but otherwise I thought it best to leave them as found and leave the cleaning up to the new owner as everyone has their own preferred methods for cleaning. Another note is that the former owner put Scotch tape on the wear/stress points of the records and sleeves. On most of the albums this was done as reinforcement and not repair. On some there is scotch tape repairs. If the cover is important to you, and I didnt take pictures of the edges, feel free to contact me for additional images. On the reinforced albums, I would think that the tape could be removed if desired. On most of the covers there is reinforcement tape on the corners and on the sleeve. He also folded the sleeve corners, probably to prevent the record from slipping out. Please wait for me to invoice you before paying. This listing is for a super scarce copy of Hank Mobley, Blue Note 1568. This record has the rare Side 2 label with New York 23. I read that they believe that there were only about 200 of these produced. The record plays through without skipping, both sides. Side one has light scuffing with a bigger scuff at the end of track two and through track three. I recorded my sample through that area. I dont think it affected the audio quality but listen for yourself. Side two has a scratch that starts in track one and transitions into a scuff through track two. Again, I recorded through that area in my sample. I believe I sampled the end of track one and almost to the end of track two so you should be able to hear any defects. The cover is okay with some toning to the white. There is tape reinforcement on the corners and a tape repair on the title edge. Looks like the tear under the tape is about 2 long. The dead wax has all the identifying markings of this being a first pressing (not to mention the NY 23) with the ear-mark, RG and appropriate matrix numbers. This is one of the rarest jazz LPs ever and could be the prize of any collection. See photos for condition and feel free to ask questions. In some cases Parcel Post will be cheaper (but take longer to deliver) so please be aware of your options. The weights I use are, somewhat, estimated. If there is a concern regarding the amount quoted in my invoice, please contact me and I will recalculate the packaged item and send you a revised invoice. I pride myself in my feedback score and the very positive remarks I have in regards to swiftness in getting my items out and the care I take in securely packaging my items. If my customers have an issue, I beg that they contact me to resolve it. Thanks for letting me get this off my chest. I try to get paid items out ASAP but cant always as I have other responsibilities. I WILL MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO ENSURE YOUR ITEM GETS TO YOU. Rare Funk Soul 45 Frankie (Love Man) Crocker Ton Of Dynamite Confession Of Love
November 30, 2017 by admin
This is for a rare Funk / Soul 45 of Frankie (Love Man) Crocker – Ton Of Dynamite / Confession Of Love – Turbo #0001. Record is in EX condition with only some faint superficial sleeve marks. Plays with very light surface noise during the intro. Labels are clean however side 2 label has a manufacturing imperfection(rip) on left side. Label is fully glued on. Lots of Doo Wop, Funk & Soul 45’s being posted this week. Please contact me immediately and directly with any concerns. Standard Goldmine Grading Used. Near Mint [NM or M-]: A nearly perfect record. Many dealers won’t give a grade higher than this implying (perhaps correctly) that no record is ever truly perfect. The record shows no obvious sign of wear. An LP jacket has no creases, folds, seam splits or any other noticeable similar defect. No cut-out holes, either. And of course, the same is true of any other inserts, such as posters, lyric sleeves, and the like. Basically, Near Mint looks as if you just got it home from a new record store and removed the shrink wrap. Excellent [EX]: Grades better than VG+ but due to a couple of minor imperfections, is not quite good enough to be considered NM. Very Good Plus [VG+]: Shows some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don’t affect one’s listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK. The label may have some ring wear or discoloration, but is should be barely noticeable. The center hole is not misshapen by repeated play. Picture sleeves and LP inner sleeves will have some slight wear, lightly turn-up corners, or a slight seam-split. In general, if not for a couple of minor things wrong with it, this would be Near Mint. All but the most mint-crazy collectors will find a Very Good Plus record highly acceptable. Very Good [VG]: Many of the defects found in a VG+ record are more pronounced in a VG disc. Surface noise is evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during the song’s intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as will light scratches deep enough to feel with a fingernail that will affect the sound. Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached. The same will be true of picture sleeves or LP covers. However, it will not have all of these problems at the same time, only two or three of them. Good [G], Good Plus [G+]: Good does not mean bad! A record in Good or Good Plus condition can be put onto a turntable and will play through without skipping. But it will have significant surface noise and scratches and visible groove wear. A jacket or sleeve has seam splits, especially at the bottom or on the spine. Tape, writing, ring wear or other defects will start to overwhelm the object. If it’s a common item, you’ll probably find another copy in better shape eventually. But if it’s. Rare Vintage Audiophile JVC CD-4 Disc Demodulator Vinyl Records (TESTED/WORKING)
September 1, 2017 by admin
Rare Vintage Audiophile Audio JVC CD-4 Disc Demodulator for Vinyl Records. Rare: JVC 4 channel CD-4 disk Demodulator Quadraphonic Turntable Amplifier (1970’s). Quadraphonic sound (4-channel) was the predecessor of our modern day “surround sound”. It was amazing for its time. The first vinyl’s were classical exposes, with a few rock, folk and big band disks introduced. Many were remakes of existing albums… Dark Side of the Moon, Santana Abraxas, etc. Known commonly as CD-4. A CD-4 turntable was necessary, possessing a quad cartridge. A CD-4 demodulator and quadraphonic receiver were also required, all of which, could cost thousands of dollars, even in 1972. Quality Japanese electronics: Built in Japan used for making quadraphonic sound from your turntable and then feeds it into your 4 channel amp. Authentic sound: A must for those Audiophiles serious about their collection of vinyl records. Perfect for encoding 4 channel records. Watch on Youtube how this model works. The item “Rare Vintage Audiophile JVC CD-4 Disc Demodulator Vinyl Records (TESTED/WORKING)” is in sale since Friday, December 23, 2016.
