Hi, Up for sale today is an original 1972 1st press of the extremely rare Mellow Candle lp Swaddling Songs. Artist / Title: Mellow Candle Swaddling Songs. Label: Original UK Deram 1972 release SDL 7. P-1W and ZAL 11142P-2W. There only a few spindle marks on the labels, has seen very little play. Side 1, track 4 has a 1cm scuff right at the end of the track, this mark just creeps over to the very start of track 5 – this scuff causes around 18 low dull clicks, hence the VG grade of this side. Audio: VG+, nice clear sound, in the main the playback is great, but there is some very occasional light background noise and the a handful of light clicks; still a great listen. Sleeve: standard Decca stereo inner from the early 1970’s. If you are looking at this page you will know what a great lp this is. We use strict grading, this VG+/VG record is a great sounding copy! My apologies for putting incorrect No. I had 2 copies.. Original 1980’Individually Numbered’ 1st Pressing Licht Und Blindheit still in its Orig Shrink wrap as sent from Sordide Sentimental in France in 1980. It was only opened, very carefully at the top end, to remove the vinyl which is still in its original mylar sleeve altho as these are fragile, I’ve placed a Tonar inner sleeve for extra protection. Complete with Original Inserts [Blue and White] and No. ORIGINAL 1980 Limited Edition FRENCH 7 No. 00849 G/F Lich Und Blindheit. The fold-over gatefold sleeve has in fact NEVER been removed from its Original shrink wrap and was only been slightly split at top edge to remove the vinyl single and view the inserts! The vinyl has been played just a couple of times only! 1758 copies only were pressed, with each sleeve individually numbered on the inner gatefold. Hence you may ask If it has never been removed, how do you know it is individually numbered? Well, you can peek in from the top edge and view the number – This one is no 00857. This copy was bought direct from Sordide Sentimental in France in 1980 and as the number is 0084it did not come with an outer bag. I have just listed A FACTORY SAMPLE + will also be listing.
