DISC: Good+ (top end of this grading or perhaps VG minus) – A-2/B-2 matrix. SLEEVE: VG light ring wear to cover. With original black poly lined inner. In dark blue/black gatefold sleeve which is correct to this first edition. Complete set with 2 posters and 2 stickers included. Plays with crackle on intro then improves. General crackle throughout sometimes better sometimes not and occasional clicks. Background crackle is not overpowering music but you know its there on quieter parts. Vinyl has general light hairlines and a number of other light visible scratches and a couple of lightly feelable scratches. These lightly feelable ones dont seem audible. Dark Side of The Moon Pink Floyd SHVL 804 1st UK Press Solid Blue Triangle

This record has been in my collection for a long time. It is the UK first pressing with the solid blue triangle and comes in the hazy blue/black sleeve. The original sticker was placed on the inner cover. It comes with the two posters and two stickers. It is housed in the original black poly lined sleeve. Graded VG – VG+ RRPG grades record/sleeve. I’ve been conservative here. On my system I can hear clicks an crackle, especially on A1. This disappears and there is a good full sound throughout, despite the crackle, it’s a good listen. The record has a good sheen. If I had a Vi-Pro etc, then I think it would befit this. Under bright light I can see a light mark to A1and some very light marks to B but nothing significant. There are some tiny marks on the run off under magnification. The label has minimal spiralling. Matrix A-side – SHVL 804 A-2 there also looks like GDC but is difficult to read and a 7 at 7 o’clock. Mattrix B-side – SHVL 804 B-2 and what looks like GGG. Gatefold blue/black ink sleeve. It has light wear with minimal ring wear and some corner bumping. Generally very nice indeed. A distinctive polythene lined die cut black semi-matt paper. Two patent numbers to bottom left, 1125555/1072844, and “Made in Great Britian” to the right. Both in excellent condition. Both unused with their backs on stating ” PERMANENT”. One has creased from being caught in the gatefold. Overall, a lovely copy. Listening now and the sound is near EX at present! The start of A1 is clicky and you can hear some background in the quiet moments. Sad times, but hey! Pink Floyd – Dark Side Of The Moon. SHVL 804 – A2/B2 1st Press with Solid Blue Triangle. Stampers – 5GDR, 1GCA. The Vinyl has been graded as Excellent. The Sleeve has some minor surface wear and some edge wear on mainly the bottom where it has been slid onto a shelf (shown in photos). Original Black Poly Lined Inner with 2 minor repairs at centre hole on one side. If you require any further information or photographs please drop us a line. We use the Record Collector’s grading system giving separate condition ratings for the Vinyl and Sleeve as follows. Near Mint (NM) – A nearly perfect record. Has more than likely been played few times or not at all, and the vinyl will show no imperfections during playback. Sleeve will have no more than the most minor defects. The same is true of any other inserts, such as posters, lyric sleeves, etc. Excellent (EX) -The record shows some signs of having been played but there is very little lessening in sound quality. Sleeve may have slight wear or creasing Very Good (VG) – The record has obviously been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Sleeve, normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. Good (GD) – The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. Dark side of the moon vinyl LP. First UK pressing from 1973 with A2/B2 matrices and solid blue triangle on the vinyl labels. Vinyl is in really beautiful condition. Clean, bright and still glossy with only the odd light scuff visible under strong light. A udio is great. Plays through crisp and clear with no jumps or sticks. No distortion and just mild surface noise between tracks and on the quieter sections but certainly nothing which overpowers the music. Labels are very clean with no wear or writing. A few spindle marks. Stickered sleeve is also in clean and solid condition with no splits, or unwanted writing. Some edge and shelf wear but other wise a strong VG+. Includes one original poster and one postcard. These are showing signs of age with yellowing and the poster has pinholes and a couple of tears. Overall a really great copy of this first pressing. Will be supplied with a new polylined inner. Any questions or if you require more photos please ask. I use correct record mailers and stiffeners to ensure the record arrives free of damage. I will post world wide. Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening of sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing. Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Original 78 RPM record. Has a edge crack repaired on the record. Likely occurred early in its life since record and labels are in excellent shape. It has been glued. Once you pass the repair, the record plays fine. It is a shame, because as stated, the labels are very nice and so is the record. Ideal for display or frame! He was infamous in the Payola Scandal which destroyed his career, however, his contribution to rock and roll, a phrase he is said to have created, has been recognized with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. A COPY of an original envelope addressed to Alan, that came along with the lot records from his collection, is included for provenance. I’ve been collecting records for years. It is a CANADA ONLY first pressing of Rush’s debut lp released on their own Moon label. There were only 3500 pressed on this labellater pressings were on Mercury, Anthem, etc. This lp was pre-Neil Peart on drums(John Rutsey was the drummer on this album). Very sought after lp and a must have for serious Rush fans/collectors. ALL vinyl LP is beautiful and clean, scuff marks. Plays through with minimal detection. The jackets is in VG condition with split, light corner wear. Not museum piece, but a great play copy for someone that actually wants to listen to it. The photos are of the actual item for sale. PINK FLOYD: The Dark Side Of The Moon, UK Harvest 1973 1. Pressing with the Solid Blue triangle label. SHVL 804-A, SHVL 804-B matrixes. Complete with the 2 posters & 2 stickers. Posters are the rare non-glossy thick paper style, and the stickers have the simple’permament’ in red ink on back. This LP comes with the original black UK poly-inner. The superb gatefold cover is the correct’blue-toned’ 1. Pressing cover, and this rare example has the rare sticker. Please note that all later covers for this title have a darker more black tone. Extremely rare in this condition! VINYL is in stunning MINT(-) condition,’as new’. Very possible UNPLAYED until carefully tested by myself. Looks absolutely’as new’ and labels indicate 0 to 1 plays judging by ONE ultra faint spindle trace on each side , nearly invisible. (This 1 spindle-line is very often present on unplayed records directly from the factory). Vinyl is 100% flat and plays with perfect sound throughout! COVER is superb EXCELLENT++ , a couple of barely noticable crease lines on back cover near back spine, see pics. Great upper and lower spines, great back spine. From front one of the best looking blue toned covers I have ever seen. Overall, a superb cover for an incredible clean LP! BLACK inner is EXCELLENT++. A few of the mandatory creases, but no real wear. One of the very best I have seen. Posters & stickers are all EX+ to MINT- condition. All items are play graded and carefully checked. All LPs are cleaned on the Audio Desk Ultrasonic Vinyl Cleaner for optimal sound-quality. Please WAIT FOR INVOICE after all auctions are closed… Same charge for 1 or 5 LPs, or any number in between. 6-10 LPs will be sent in two packages at 30 GBP. Ll items or combined totals over 40 GBP will have the additional charge of 4 GBP to cover Tracking.
