Dragonwyck on their own private label from Cleveland, Ohio. Less than 100 copies were pressed. Original concert poster not included. The vinyl is very clean. VG++/VG+ condition, a few light superficial marks. It comes in a plain white cover. The quintet from Cleveland (OH) was one of the most promising bands in that area, opened shows for bands as Foghat, Golden Earring, Edgar Winter Group etc. The mood of the music is dark, heavy, mystic and strongly influenced of the times´ spirit and the Hippie age, anything goes! Shortly after highschool in 1970, they recorded 7 tracks, released a test pressing on Pama Records in an edition of only 85 copies. Jim Morrison and The Doors brought main inspiration to their music, with the small difference; the songs are heavier and more progressive; the sound is not just dominated by great vocals, there are lots of freaked out heavy guitar solos and swirling Hammond B3 organ, which brings the individual note to the music. Often rumored but rarely seen, Mint should never be used as a grade unless more than one person agrees that the record or sleeve truly is in this condition. NEAR MINT (NM OR M-) A good description of a NM record is it looks like it just came from a retail store and it was opened for the first time. In other words, it’s nearly perfect. Many dealers won’t use a grade higher than this, implying (perhaps correctly) that no record or sleeve is ever truly perfect. NM records are shiny, with no visible defects. Writing, stickers or other markings cannot appear on the label, nor can any “spindle marks” from someone trying to blindly put the record on the turntable. Minor writing, tape or a sticker can detract from the label. Many collectors who have jukeboxes will use VG records in them and not think twice. They remain a fine listening experience, just not the same as if it were in better shape. Ring wear in the middle or along the edges of the cover where the edge of a record would reside, is obvious, though not overwhelming. Some more creases might be visible. Seam splitting will be more obvious; it may appear on all three sides, though it won’t be obvious upon looking. Someone might have written or it or stamped a price tag on it, too. Good (G), Good Plus (G+) or Very Good Minus (VG-) These records go for 10 to 15 percent of the Near Mint value, if you are lucky. Good does not mean bad! The record still plays through without skipping, so it can serve as filler until something better comes along. COVER VG+ NO SPLIT SEAMS LIGHT, EDGE WEAR, RING WEAR,, SOME YELLOW AT ONE EDGE. VPI PROFESSIONALLY CLEAN VERY HIGH GLOSS VINYL NO CLICKS OR POPS. PLEASE VIEW CONDITION PHOTOS. I’ve been collecting records for years. It is a CANADA ONLY first pressing of Rush’s debut lp released on their own Moon label. There were only 3500 pressed on this labellater pressings were on Mercury, Anthem, etc. This lp was pre-Neil Peart on drums(John Rutsey was the drummer on this album). Very sought after lp and a must have for serious Rush fans/collectors. ALL vinyl LP is beautiful and clean, scuff marks. Plays through with minimal detection. The jackets is in VG condition with split, light corner wear. Not museum piece, but a great play copy for someone that actually wants to listen to it. The photos are of the actual item for sale. SHOP AND COMPARE ITEM! RECORD IN PLASTIC SLEEVE TO CONSERVE PRISTINE CONDITION MINT Means possible unplayed> NM means near mint, in other words it’s close to perfect no nicks, marks, wear or scratches. There may be slight wear on the cover, but no seam splits, and not a lot of wear, it still looks great. AT 9 0 CLOCK ON SIDE ONE OPPOSITE G. 1.1 IS A NUMBER 2, AS STATED BELLOW. FEW MARKS ON RUNOUT GROOVE. HOWEVER, RECORD SOUNDS FANTASTIC FOR AGE. RECORD HAS A FEW HARLINES AND A FEW SURFACE MARKS BUT NOT MANY. CRACKLES CAN BE HEARED IN SOME PARTS AS TO BE EXPECTED. HOWEVER THERE ARE NO SKIPS OR JUMPS AND SOUNDS ACE FOR IT’S AGE. THE MUSIC OVERPOWERS THE CRACKLING AND REALLY I MUST ADMIT IT’S NOT A BAD PRESSING AT ALL! BIT OF A RELUCTANT SALE AFTER LISTENING TO IT AGAIN. I DO NOT HAVE THE OKI NOKI CLEANER NOW, SAYING THAT THOUGH WITHOUT IT BEING CLEANED SOUNDED FAB. THEREFORE A CLEAN MAY BENEFIT EVEN MORE. HOWEVER AS I SAID SOUNDS GREAT FOR IT’S AGE. COVER IS SHOWING ITS AGE. THIS COULD DO WITH A CLEAN IF POSSIBLE? HAS A CLEAN SPLIT AT BOTTOM OF SLEEVE SEAM. THIS IS NOT TORN IT HAS JUST COME AWAY WITH TIME AND IS WELL KNOWN WITH THIS LP. IT SHOWS SOME SIGNS OF CORNER SHELF WEAR AND LITTLE FRAYS. HOWEVER ALL IS INTACT APART FORM THE BOTTOM SEAM AS EXPLAINED AND BEING A BIT STAINED. APART FROM THIS ALL ELSE IS WHOLE AND SPINE IS GOOD FOR AGE AS WELL. INNER IS ORIGINAL AND IS IN ONE PIECE. ALL IN ALL A GREAT EXAMPLE OF THIS FIRST PRESSING BY THE BEATLES. The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised, as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing. The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
