Rare original MELLOW CANDLE SWADDLING SONGS UK Deram 1972 Psych Folk

Hi, Up for sale today is an original 1972 1st press of the extremely rare Mellow Candle lp Swaddling Songs. Artist / Title: Mellow Candle Swaddling Songs. Label: Original UK Deram 1972 release SDL 7. P-1W and ZAL 11142P-2W. There only a few spindle marks on the labels, has seen very little play. Side 1, track 4 has a 1cm scuff right at the end of the track, this mark just creeps over to the very start of track 5 – this scuff causes around 18 low dull clicks, hence the VG grade of this side. Audio: VG+, nice clear sound, in the main the playback is great, but there is some very occasional light background noise and the a handful of light clicks; still a great listen. Sleeve: standard Decca stereo inner from the early 1970’s. If you are looking at this page you will know what a great lp this is. We use strict grading, this VG+/VG record is a great sounding copy! Disc is Very Good+ gatefold cover is Good, there is the letter B2 lightly written on the upper right front cover. Has the photo insert. Good shape or better here on the best California private LP of the 1970s. Totally killer ex-Beat Of The Earth eastern folk psych, art cover printed in silver and red and purple and gold. Chuck and Mary Perrin Album vinyl LP Webster’s Last Word Records VG+ Rare FOLK

Vinyl = VG+ Cover = VG. SS = brand new, sealed M- = near mint, or unplayed condition. Cover looks as close to perfect with only minor signs of wear and or age. EX or VG++ = minor scuffs which are only slightly visible. There may be more than a few scuffs and NO Scratches. Will not distract significantly from the sound. Cover also has only slight wear, and is still in nice collectible condition. VG+ = vinyl still has a great luster, record shows wear, surface scuffs. But the flaws will be noticeable to the naked eye. A virtually clean cover, but may have small writing on it. The artwork looks clean with slightly more aging. The back of the cover usually gives away the age of the cover. Flat white paper will be somewhat yellow yet no stains or mildew from water damage. VG = overall wear, but no skips of serious defects, more noisy sound during quiet passages. Cover may have drill hole or tears, usually with heavy ring wear. VG- = heavy wear on record and cover. Guarantee does not apply to vg- or worse condition records. May have scotch taped seams. P = Poor or Rough condition. Can still be used for framing.
