“Frankie” b/w “Nobody’s Dirty Business” by Mississippi John Hurt. Classic Delta blues and one of the most in-demand artists among 78 rpm blues collectors. Recorded February 14, 1928 and issued on OKeh 8560. Original red label pressing. Record is in G condition; heavily worn but only light scratches and a small rim flake that doesn’t go into the grooves. Labels are somewhat worn but easily readable. Here’s your chance to own an authentic artifact from the glory years of Mississippi Delta blues. In response to queries – there are NO cracks or lams. The record is just VERY lovingly worn with heavy surface noise. Still a nice artifact and eminently listenable. BEFORE THE WAR / GO GIRL GO. VALLEY 250 [ORIGINAL PRESSING – “VALLEY 205 A/B IRC” ETCHED IN DEAD WAX]. Before The War – Folk Country. Go Girl Go – Killer Rockabilly. The label has minimal wear on either side. There is a scuff on the A side that does not impact play. There is no writing on either side. There is a “8” catalog sticker on the B side. The vinyl has minimal signs of playwear, however there is some background noise on either side. You can listen to the actual record here. Please note – my turntable is a simple ION Profile LP simply for converting media. It is by no means a high end turntable and the sound quality will be MUCH better on a higher end turn table. All records come with basic sleeves unless a factory or picture sleeve is indicated in the description. I do not use a grading system as I feel that everyone interprets it differently. For example, I see many records listed as being Near Mint, yet the label is torn or has writing on it. To me that is not near mint. I prefer to describe the record as best I can, post photos, and allow viewers to listen to the actual record as to determine for themselves how the record should be graded. 13,000 Piece Vinyl LP Record Collection LOT Country Gospel Big Band Jazz Easy Listening Classical Soft Rock Disco Genres. All Records are in Playable Condition. Majority are VG+ Condition. Many are in EX or VG Condition. Collection is 20% Mainstream Usa Country, 20% Usa Southern Gospel, 20% Big Band Jazz and Easy Listening, 20% Classical and 20% Soft Rock and Disco. There are also some Soundtracks and Broadway Showtunes and World Music mixed in. Vast Majority of the Records are Usa Pressings. Collection Includes all Records on Shelves and Records Shown in Boxes Already Packed on Pallet. There are Single 12 Inch LPs, Double 12 Inch LPs, Box Sets, 12 Inch Disco Singles and some 10 Inch LPs. Vast Majority Are 12 Inch Vinyl LP Records. All Packed there would be about 170 Boxes with 80 LPs per box weighing around 40 Pounds Each for a Packing Weight of about 6800 Pounds. These Records are from Starrynightrecords warehouse space. These are genres that we do not sell and are looking to clear space.
