As you might have known that all MONO jackets for the 1st Pressings were supposed to have ONLY up to 300000 sleeve number. And sleeves with 300000- 600000 were produced for STEREO version (Word Stereo on top right rear) only. However due to the export production where EMI had to used the same numbered MONO jacket by the end of November they were forced to print additional 250000 MONO sleeves which started from 600000 number. Featured Copy is : 0612358… The highest we ever saw was 0620474. Sleeve : VG + Intact. No tape, no writing. Still glossy Some ageing signs. A small portion of the records are new and sealed, but this is always indicated in the title. These vinyl records have no cracks, warps or any obvious defects. No marks or abrasions that could interfere with playability (except those that may be mentioned in the description above this chapter). I have checked them carefully. I have over forty years of experience collecting records, so my choice of records and grades are based on this. Most of them have excellent sound. But in some rare sporadic cases of unique records, they may have a slight hiss and a few clicks. In short, the condition of the record is much better than the cover, and you can see the actual condition in the last photo. The round label represents the condition of the record, and the square one represents the cover. RECORD GRADING: MINT (M) – mint records are perfect, usually this grade applies just to new, sealed records. NEAR MINT (NM) – looks like new, played just several times. EXCELLENT (EX) – plays great, but may have couple of inaudible hair marks, records reflects high-quality care. VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+) – record has more marks, but it also plays great, no distortion, just couple of clicks. Less shiny, but looks fine. VERY GOOD (VG) – its previous use will be apparent, under inspection. It may have visible scratches, mostly inaudible. Sound has light distortions, may have multiple clicks and noise. POOR (P) or FAIR (F) – discs with these ratings often have major noise issues, and should expected as bad and noise sound, even may have cracks and chips. COVER GRADING: MINT (M) – pristine, perfect, usually means sealed. NEAR MINT (NM) – looks like new, but obviously used (open shrinkwrap, may have light bites on corners). EXCELLENT (EX) – same to NM, slightly used, looks great. VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+) – may have very light signs of shelf wear, some imperfections of corners. VERY GOOD (VG) – previous use will be apparent. It may have visible wear or light ring mark (left by LP itself), light pen marks. May have top or bottom ragged. Ring wear or heavy wear, artwork may have heavy pen or pencil marks, may have traces of soaks. POOR (P) or FAIR (F) – cover was soaked, or heavy lacerated, ragged. My other Vinyl Records listed. This one has been in my collection for years and years, I play tested it and it plays through beautifully, easily grades at near-mint for me, the cover is also just stunning, little signs of any wear or age and grades a NM! Hard to find a nicer set.
