1 RARE RECORD SHOP. BEATLES Please Please Me UK STEREO BLACK/GOLD 1ST PRESSING. Here’s a rare opportunity to get your hands on an original black/gold Stereo copy of The. Beatles Please Please Me. This is perhaps most peoples ideal scenario, a copy that plays. Clean copy sells for nowadays, assuming you can find one. Gone are the days a VG+ copy. Of any album is worth anywhere near the price of a mint copy. We think this is a very. Reasonable price for this copy, which as I listen to it writing this, plays with the lightest of. Background, on the a-side mostly just the odd ticks between tracks and little else. First track on the b-side has noticable light background, the rest have barely any, again. Any background is lightly noticable between tracks. The thing that lets this copy down is the presence of stickers on the labels, one of which. Someone has removed with resulting damage to the label surface. The cover itself has. Average wear to the corners and the flip-backs. The white rear unlaminated cover is. Remarkably clean, with all text clear and with very little dirt pick-up. The spines are all. Generally clean except for the corners as pictured. As for the vinyl surface itself, there are no heavy scratches, no wear you find on albums. Over played or played with poor needles. Both sides have the odd mark, side one has an. Ultra-fine longer mark which is very light and totally inaudible. Otherwise the album is. Really very clean, certainly not over-played and in the sort of condition some would. I’ve tried to show the cover corner wear as best I can, and have been as honest and. Comprehensive as possible in my description. In summary, if you’re after a mint one, this. If you want a copy you won’t be afraid to play, that has very little to distract from. Your listening pleasure and won’t require you to re-mortgage the house, you’ve found. A UK dealer you can trust. Ships in proper mailers and Knows what NEAR MINT is! Goes beyond the description. I received exactly what expected, pleasure to deal with. Superb record and sleeve. Packaging was of the highest quality. Packaged using high quality box mailers with extra card stiffeners. Grading – As in Record Collector guide – Strict and guaranteed. Photos show actual record for sale. The item “BEATLES Please Please Me UK STEREO BLACK / GOLD 1ST PRESSING PCS 3042″ is in sale since Saturday, September 15, 2018. Over ten years of grading nearly a million albums, Shuga Records has developed a consistent – and conservative – method for objectively grading the condition of everything we sell. All recordings are visually inspected under high-intensity lights, using our customized grading system. New Sealed Mint (SS). When someone says something’s “Mint condition, ” this is what they’re talking about. The album is sealed in its original packaging and has never been played. This is the highest grade for records that have been played. The album is in excellent condition and shows no visible signs of wear or damage that will affect sound quality. While not flawless, the condition is very good, showing only minimal signs of use. Any visible blemishes should have minimal affect on play quality, though light surface noise maybe present at very quiet portions or between tracks. This is a record that should satisfy all but the most strict of collectors. There may be slight ring or cover wear, or minor writing on the cover. Vinyl may have scratches and/or other visual blemishes, but should play through without skipping or repeating. Light to moderate surface noise and/or crackle may be present, however not overly distracting. Covers may have moderate ring and/or edge wear, cut-outs / hole punches, or a moderate seam splits. Let’s be honest: sound quality is low and the cover may be in very poor shape. We consider any item graded at or below VG- as a LOW GRADE item. We only sell albums rated VG- and above unless a record is so rare that its presence in the collection transcends the poor quality of the vinyl or cover. Please always message us with any problems or questions. We will get back to you as soon as possible. We are always happy to provide additional information and photos as needed. WOW WHAT A FIND! THIS IS A SUPER EXAMPLE OF THE RAREST YELLOW/BLACK ” 4TH ” LABELLED UK STEREO PRESSING WITH NO RECORDING FIRST PUBLISHED TEXT, OF ALL THE EARLIEST 4 LABELLED VARIANTS THIS IS THE HARDEST ONE TO FIND AS ONLY A LIKELY HANDFULL WERE EVER PRESSSED BEFORE THE NEW COPERATE YELLOW & BLACK LABEL OF 63 LABEL WAS SETTLED UPON & STANDARDISED. AS SUCH THIS COPY ALSO HAS THE EARLIEST MOTHER STAMPER FOR SIDE TWO OF 1G (EVEN THE BLACK AND GOLDS START THAT SIDE WITH 1R) WITH 1P ON SIDE ONE. WHEN FIRST RELEASED THIS ALBUM WAS AT THE END OF THE BLACK & GOLD LABEL ERA, THE 1ST LABEL WAS THE BLACK & GOLD WITH DICK JAMES CREDITS FOR ALL THE LENNON McCARTNEY SONGS, FOLLOWED BY A CORRECTED BLACK & GOLD LABEL CHANGING MANY TO THE CORRECT NORTHERN SONGS (” 2ND ” LABEL). THEN WHEN THE NEW CORPORATE YELLOW & BLACK LABELS ARRIVE THE FIRST EFFORT (” 3RD ” LABEL) HAD AN ERROR IN THAT IT INCLUDED THE SMALL 33 1/3RD THAT WAS USED ON THE BLACK & GOLDS IN ERROR SO THIS SECOND EFFORT (4TH LABEL) CORRECTLY REMOVES THIS DUPLICATION BUT STILL DOES NOT SHOW THE RECORDING FIRST PUBLISHED AND OF ALL THE LABELS THIS ONE IS THE HARDEST OF THE HARD TO FIND. EMI EVENTUALLY GOT IT RIGHT AND ENDED UP WITH A NEW LABEL STYLE THEY WERE HAPPY WITH AND IT SHOULD BE STRESSED THAT THESE CHANGES HAPPENED OVER A PERIOD OF LITERALLY JUST A FEW SHORT WEEKS. Some of the more valuable items of the same weight will also therefore show a slightly higher postal cost. Apologies again, this is not of my makin g. TRACK LISTING : see labels. MATRICIES: -1 -1 MOTHER STAMPERS : 1P 1G. VINYL VISUAL : STILL RETAINS ITS FIRST PRESSED SHEEN. SLEEVE: SUPER LARGE STEREO EXAMPLE, THE ODD CREASE AND SLIGHT BUMP TOP FRONT RIGHT GRADES EX. LABELS : EVIDENCE OF PLAY GRADE EX. RAREST OF ALL THE STEREO VARIANTS AND PRICED ACCORDINGLY, TRY & FIND ANOTHER. Please note that whilst I try to endeavour to adhere to strict RC gradings I will never describe ANYTHING AS MINT even when I think it to be so. However if I believe an item to be Mint. I will instead either use the terms Near Mint, mint minus, or in archive or vault condition. When I use these terms you know that in my opinion this is in effect a de-facto Mint grade. Dont forget to take a look at my other items. Please feel free to contact me with any queries you may have. PROOF OF POSTING WOULD SEEM INSUFFICIENT TO THEM AND I HAVE FOUND THIS OUT THE HARD WAY. EACH ADDITIONAL LP AFTER THE FIRST WILL USUALLY BE AND EXTRA G 2.00 PER EACH ADDITIONAL LP.
