We will start the emptying of the building with the record collection first and then the book collection which is also massive and amazing. The record collection includes (conservatively estimated). 68 linear feet of 12 33rpm LP records (approximately 6000) / of this, about 75% of the LPs are professionally cleaned and in nice protective mylar sleeves and have inner paper sleeves. 90% of all of the records are in VG+ or better condition. The grading scale is: (M) Mint / VG+ / VG / VG- / G. 15 linear feet of 7 45rpm single records (approximately 2000) / these are all in boxes and approximately 5 of the boxes of 45s are in the original picture sleeves. Approximately 40% of all of the 45s are in nice protective mylar sleeves. The majority of the 45s are in VG+ condition. 20 linear feet of 12 33 & 78rpm boxed sets (mostly 33rpm). The majority of the 78s are in VG+ or better condition. 50 linear feet of 10 78rpm albums (approximately 200 albums). Condition varies but the majority of them are in VG+ condition. Not all of these are complete sets. SCROLL DOWN FOR MORE PICS. Up for sale is my personal Björk collection, probably my most prized possession. 155 PIECES IN TOTAL (if i counted correctly and not including the many magazine clippings). I don’t want to break up the collection because I want to get the most value I can out of it, so I don’t think I will sell anything separately. My goal was to collect every björk related vinyl release and I nearly did, as well as many other items I found along the way.. I’m only missing a few key vinyl pieces. But besides that I have most of the main vinyl releases from her solo and pre solo careers. I stopped collecting around the time Vulnicura came out, so I’m missing all the Vulnicura singles/remixes. I have most of the cassette releases too and a lot of her early press photos and lots of magazine clippings and posters. If someone buys this, you could probably start a small björk museum! Many of these records are NEAR MINT(NM) or STILL SEALED but they are all AT LEAST VG+ to EX (except for a small handful that I would grade as Good). I will grade each one below. Most of the records have only been played a couple times or not at all. OK HERE IS THE LIST OF EVERYTHING INCLUDED IN THIS LISTING. Björk – Björk/self titled 1977 LP (This is an unofficial bootleg copy but it is an exact replica of the original and it was limited to 1000 copies so it’s still pretty rare) Near Mint and unplayed. Tappi Tíkarrass – Bítið Fast Í Vítið (1982) I would grade this VG+ to EX – very nice and clean copy. Little wear to sleeve, no splits and vinyl is clean as well. I have not played it. 2x Tappi Tíkarrass – Miranda (1983) VG+ – EX – I have two of these. Very nice and clean copies. Light wear to sleeves, no splits, and vinyl clean as well. Insert included in both. KUKL – The Eye (1984) – VG+ – EX – Original press on Crass records with the beautiful foldout poster sleeve. The poster is huge and would look amazing framed. Besides a couple very light creases, it’s perfect. KUKL – Holidays in Europe (1986) EX – Original press on Crass records, very little wear. The Sugarcubes – Life’s Too Good (1988) EX – Original Elektra pressing, green cover. The Sugarcubes – Life’s Too Good (1988) EX – NM – Original Elektra pressing, pink cover. Hype sticker on cover, high quality audiophile edition AND promo copy with gold stamp on back cover. The Sugarcubes – Life’s Too Good (1988) SEALED ORIGINAL- yellow cover. (1989) EX – NM – Original Elektra pressing, hype stickers on cover, gatefold, high quality audiophile edition AND promo copy with gold stamp on back cover.
