The Misfits Beware, this is the only true first press identified by the run-out information that has MAX etched on both sides. The later bootleg has nothing on the A side, and MIX on the B side. The LP is in great condition and a true rarity. Label: Plan 9 PLP9. Format: Vinyl, 12, Compilation, 45 RPM. Manufactured By Lyntone Recordings Ltd. 3120 copies pressed for release in the UK to promote their 1979 tour. The sleeve artwork was not finished in time, and it was not actually released until after the tour in January 1980. I use proper box mailers for all my LPs and Box sets. Led Zeppelin – Led Zeppelin S/T LP. Turquoise Text, Plum labels, Correct Title version Cat #588 171. Title and catalogue number on spine. VG+ (light surface marks). Condition of Sleeve: VG+/Excellent (some discolouration and creases). Overall Lovely Copy of this super rare holy grail LP. Please see my other auctions for more rare Prog/Rock/60’s Rarities. Guide to record condition. MINT: No scuffs, scratches, blotches, stains, labels, writing, tears or splits. NEAR MINT: A Record that may have one or two tiny, minor flaws such as light paper scuffs from sliding in and out of the sleeves that do not affect play. EXCELLENT: A Record has been handled and played either very little or very carefully. The vinyl may have lost some but not all of it’s original lustre or have a slight scratch that doesn’t affect play. A VG record may look like it will have some audible surface noise when it is played, although any noise should not overwhelm the music or ruin the listening experience. GOOD: The Record is well played, with any number of defects such as complete loss of surface sheen, obvious surface noise, etc. Items will be sent in strong protective packing, using purpose designed mailers. We take care to make sure that the vinyl and inner bag are always removed from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits, and the vinyl itself will be placed in a soft plastic cover to protect it during transit.
