Released in 1989, it peaked at number two on the UK album charts and is certified Platinum by BPI in the UK. And Gold by the RIAA in the USA. Kate Bush was nominated for Best British Producer and Best British Album of the Year at the 1990 Brit Awards for her work on The Sensual World. The album was also nominated in 1991 for a Grammy Award for Best Alternative Music Album. Unicef is releasing 50 special, limited edition blue vinyls of 17 cult. Classic and contemporary albums. The record will be adorned with an edition sticker as well as a holographic Unicef Blue Vinyl sticker on the front of album.
